If the fan blades of a high-speed aircraft engine suddenly break and penetrate the gearbox, serious air accidents will occur. Therefore, the gearbox inclusivity test of the aircraft engine is essential, and the key to completing the gearbox inclusivity test is how to make the fan blades break at the designated position.Nowadays, the mainstream material for fan blades is TC4 titanium alloy,so studying the explosive separation of TC4 titanium alloy plates under different methods is of great significance for completing the casing containment test. This article designs three different explosive separation schemes and combines separation experiments with numerical simulations to complete the corresponding work and draw the following conclusions:(1)In the lateral single hole scheme,a larger hole is used to weaken the strength of the plate, and a certain thickness of buffer layer is used to reduce the charge amount and thereby reduce additional kinetic energy. The effect is best when the charge diameter is 5mm,and the additional kinetic energy of the plate is relatively small.(2)In the lateral double hole scheme, compared to the single hole scheme with the same remaining thickness, the explosive energy is more effectively utilized to achieve explosive separation of titanium alloy plates while reducing the charge by half.In the dual hole scheme, the best effect is achieved with a pore size of 4.8mm,but the additional kinetic energy is relatively large. The design dimensions of the single and double hole schemes are all from actual engineering, and the flat plate sizes of the two schemes are inconsistent, making it inconvenient to directly compare.(3)In the linear metal shaped charge jet separation scheme, flat plates with a groove depth of no less than 8.8mm were successfully separated.Due to the directionality of jet penetration and the concentrated force on the flat plate, the final detachment kinetic energy of the flat plate is smaller than that of the same size lateral double hole scheme.Considering the convenience of operation in practical engineering, this plan is the first choice for the containment test of aircraft engine casings.Figure[47] Table[9] Reference[87]...
