| As the aging of society continues to deepen,wheelchairs will become more and more common as an important travel aid for the elderly with degenerative physical function.In order to meet the needs of wheelchair users and improve their travel frequency and sense of social participation,it is imperative to strengthen the construction of barrier-free environment and make road facilities better serve wheelchair users.Firstly,the research and analysis of wheelchair users’ travel behavior and the current situation of community travel facilities are conducted.Interviews were conducted to investigate wheelchair users and describe their travel characteristics.It was found that the frequency of wheelchair users using public transportation was low,and their travel places were mainly community hard-need living service places,and the travel distance was short,and their travel intention was inhibited.In addition,through wheelchair field experience and Likert metric,the traffic conditions of bus stations,parking lots,sidewalks and intersections in five communities in Nanjing were investigated,and the compliance rate of facilities was calculated according to the standard.By analyzing the characteristics of wheelchair accessible facilities construction in communities,it is found that the current problems are mainly manifested as poor systematic construction of wheelchair accessible facilities,lack of detailed design,and lack of service awareness.Secondly,the barriers and needs of wheelchair transportation facilities are studied based on co-word and network analysis.The wheelchair-related blog posts from 2011 to 2021 were obtained from Weibo platform,and the occurrence points of mobility barriers and demand changes of wheelchair users were explored through natural language processing.Using co-word analysis and social network theory,the centrality of high frequency network nodes is analyzed.Cluster classification of wheelchair mobility disorders,explore the key nodes of the occurrence of wheelchair mobility disorders,map the structure of wheelchair mobility disorders and analyze the impact level.The results showed that the obstacle points were distributed in four scenarios: road sections,intersections,public transportation,stations and construction sites.The obstacle points at intersections had the greatest impact on wheelchair use.In terms of demand attitude,wheelchair users’ demand for barrier-free facilities has shifted from building facilities to urban road facilities,reflecting their increased willingness to travel.Finally,combined with the interview results,the feasibility of the method is verified,and the research method can be applied to engineering standard research,which is difficult to conduct public opinion survey,and explore a new idea and method to obtain the needs of special groups.Then,based on the frequency of historical documents and the current situation and needs of wheelchair users,the evaluation index system of wheelchair transportation system was constructed from the three levels of wheelchair transportation facilities construction,transportation road facilities construction and public transportation construction.AHP was used to obtain the geometric average weights of experts and wheelchair users to clarify the order of importance of facilities.Based on this,the facility configuration of wheelchair users from the residential area to the destination is divided into three scenarios,one is the road passage process,including sections and intersections;Second,target places,including vegetable farms,supermarkets,convenience stores,parks,banks,etc.Third,the surrounding public transport stations.Finally,with the goal of achieving accessibility in the whole process of wheelchair travel in the community,and considering the macro layout and micro design,the key points of community wheelchair travel system facility configuration based on wheelchair users’ travel behavior were proposed in three scenarios.Finally,Arc GIS is used to evaluate and analyze the configuration of transportation facilities of the wheelchair transportation system in Suojin Village,Nanjing,and suggestions are put forward for optimizing the configuration of community roads,travel places and bus stations,so as to guide the improvement of accessible facilities for wheelchair transportation in the community and help improve the life happiness of wheelchair users in the community. |
