Because of his concern and participation in the Endless Bridge Project,he met Likeng Village, and in the process of exploration,he not only strengthened the initial intention of building the countryside, but also hoped to further build a more rational and sustainable design strategy under the inspiration of Francis Carlyle and Xie Yingjun,so as to help change the "one side of a thousand villages".And improve the imbalance between the supply and maintenance of rural public facilities.Firstly,by comparing the differences between urban and rural infrastructure construction in terms of spatial scale, construction scale, investment channels, management mode and environmental resources, the relevant concepts and systems of rural landscape infrastructure are reorganized in the light of prophase research, site investigation and the iterative process of design themes at different stages. This paper discusses the rural construction and landscape design from this specific perspective.Secondly, through field research and interviews with people in Likeng Village,Chizhou City,Anhui Province,a large number of first-hand information and cognitive experience about the local environment and people’s conditions were obtained, and special investigation and dilemma analysis of various types of rural landscape infrastructure were carried out to pave the way for follow-up work.According to the difference of function and orientation, the rural landscape infrastructure is regarded as artificial or natural frame structure with rich connotation from gray to green, and can be divided into five basic types: transportation, water conservancy, farmland, recreation and ecological support; On this basis,we can also examine the eleven aspects and corresponding strategies from people to things from different dimensions of social humanities, technological economy and resources and environment. It also links the intuitive discussion of landscape infrastructure with the more complex work of rural construction. Finally, the three schemes around the future construction of Likeng Village are not only the initial attempt of the author’s exploration, but also represent different design and construction strategies under different understandings and orientations. They focus on the landscape infrastructure needs of different groups, such as tourists, villagers and builders, and emphasize economic development, rural autonomy and the good use of limited resources. The juxtaposition of the three shows the value of different construction approaches, and at the same time,it is expected to arouse more attention to the complexity and long-term effectiveness of rural construction.
