Energy and environment are two important themes of social sustainable development.It is an effective way to use industrial waste residue to produce building energy saving materials.Slag is the industrial waste produced in the process of iron smelting in blast furnace.Alkali-slag building materials have the advantages of high early strength,fast condensation speed,simple production process and less environmental pollution.The use of slag to prepare wall insulation materials is a beneficial exploration to achieve the goal of energy saving and material saving in the construction industry,and plays a positive role in promoting the development of building insulation materials.In this paper,the foam insulation material based on alkali slag was prepared by mixing wet foam.through the test of alkali slag foam thermal insulation material of apparent density,porosity and physical properties such as strength,thermal conductivity and so on basic performance test and analysis,and using optical microscope,scanning electron microscopy(SEM)for insulation materials microstructure observation and analysis,microstructure and macro properties of contact is established.By adding basalt fiber to improve the mechanical properties of alkali slag foam insulation material,the mechanism of basalt fiber to optimize the mechanical properties of alkali slag foam insulation material and the effect of basalt fiber content on the mechanical properties are revealed through test and micro analysis.Styrene-acrylic emulsion is added to basalt fibe-alkali slag foam insulation material,the influence mechanism of styrene acrylic emulsion on thermal conductivity and mechanical properties of basalt fiber-alkali slag foam insulation material and the influence law of its content is studied.The main research contents and conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)The influence law of different modulus on the compressive strength of alkali slag material is studied in the paper.The results showed that the water glass with the modulus of 1.2 have the greatest influence on the mechanical properties of alkali slag material.The mechanical strength of 1d is 42.4MPa,which reached 68.49%of the strength of 28d.In this experiment,the surfactant AOS is used as the foaming component,MPS and the commercially available thickener were used as the composite foam stabilizing agent,and the foam with a starting foam ratio of 15.93 and good stability is prepared by physical foaming technology.The foam performance met the standard requirements of JGT-266-2011.(2)The foam,which accounts for 2.0%,4.0%,6.0%and 8.0%of the mass ratio of slag,is added into the alkali slag slurry respectively.The thermal conductivity of the alkali slag foam insulation material with the foam content of 8.0%is the lowest 0.128w/(m·K),and the compressive strength is 1.2MPa,which meets the requirements of the specification of foam concrete.(3)The low-thermal conductivity basalt fiber was uniformly dispersed in the alkali slag foam slurry,and the tight bond between the basalt fiber and the alkali slag material is observed by electron microscope SEM,and the mechanical rodent effect of the basalt fiber and the alkali slag material improved the compressive strength of the basalt fiber-alkali slag foam insulation material.The compressive strength of the basalt fiber-alkali slag foam insulation material with a curing age of 28d of 1.0%is 7.5MPa,which is 135.1%higher than that of the sample at 7d.However,the addition of basalt fiber has an adverse effect on the thermal conductivity of the sample,and the lowest thermal conductivity is 0.209 W/(m·K).(4)Styrene acrylic emulsion can form a film-like substance in the basalt fiber-alkali slag foam insulation material,improving the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of basalt fiber-alkali slag foam insulation material.When the content of styrene-acrylic emulsion is 8%,the overall performance is the best,the apparent density is 646.5kg/m3,the compressive strength is 1.8 MPa,the thermal conductivity is 0.211W/(m·K),the water absorption rate is 47.04%,the porosity is 67.51%.
