As one of the important sealing components of an aero-engine,the Wshaped metal sealing ring is of great significance to the reliable operation of an aero-engine.The W-shaped metal sealing ring has been widely used in the connection between the casing pipes,combustion chambers and other components of aero-engines.In practice,the high temperature,high pressure and vibration of the aero-engine itself,higher requirements are put forward for the sealing components and product performance,the W-shaped metal sealing ring has good environmental adaptability as an aviation sealing component.Parametric development based on the structural characteristics of the Wshaped metal sealing ring and construction of a user-visualized GUI interface that can be applied in practice.The structural characteristics of the W-shaped metal sealing ring with single-point and double-point sealing are summarized and analyzed;The leakage model under the double-point sealing structure is established,and the influencing factors of the sealing performance under the double-point sealing structure are studied in detail;Compression-rebound and leakage tests at room temperature were conducted on the W-shaped metal sealing ring using secondary development and optimization.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the tensile test data of GH4169 material at room temperature and high temperature,the simulated working condition analysis of the three-dimensional full model and two-dimensional axisymmetric model of the Wshaped metal sealing ring is carried out,and the two-dimensional axisymmetric model is determined as the object of the later structure refinement study.The results show that the long-arm structure of the W-shaped metal sealing ring is conducive to the realization of double-point sealing.(2)Parametric programming of the W-shaped metal sealing ring structure is carried out based on the design characteristics of the in-house W-shaped metal sealing ring product structure,and the sub-function program is determined for the entire simulation and analysis process,and the visual interface of the Wshaped metal sealing ring is finally determined,the results show that the secondary development can speed up the generation of simulation models and the reading of simulation results,and significantly accelerate the design and development process of W-shaped metal sealing ring.(3)Considering the structural characteristics of the W-shaped metal sealing ring under double-point contact and the fluid flow at the micro interface involved in the contact position.The fractal function method is used to characterize the different roughness levels and MATLAB is used to write the roughness functions to create the roughness point cloud data.The reconstruction of the contact model and fluid channels is realized by means of CAD inverse technology,and the calculation of the leakage volume of the double-point seal is realized by CFD fluid software,and the influencing factors of the sealing performance in the case of double-point seal are explored in detail.(4)The W-shaped metal sealing ring optimized by the secondary development was tested for compression-rebound and leakage at room temperature,and the test results showed that the W-shaped metal sealing ring optimized by the secondary development has good rebound characteristics and the sealing performance meets the actual use requirements.
