In order to solve the worldwide energy crisis,the search for renewable clean energy has proved to be the main issues in recent years.As one of the main forces of new energy,wind power is clean and economical.By 2022,the cumulative installed capacity of wind turbines in China is still growing.As the main type of MW wind turbine,doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine can not only realize variable speed constant frequency power generation,but also conveniently control the flexible active and reactive power regulation.Moreover,doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine has small rectifier and inverter capacity and small frequency conversion loss.It is often used as the controlled object in speed constant frequency doubly fed wind system,which can be MW variable.Therefore,the performance research of doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine is of great significance to improve the overall performance of wind power system.Firstly,this paper gives a brief introduction of the background and significance of this subject,analyzes the development and trend of wind power technology,and further discusses the research status and trend of doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine.Secondly,this paper expounds the basic theory of doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine,analyzes the characteristics,system composition and how the doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine works,analyzes the electromagnetic theory and steady power characteristic of the generator by using phasor diagram and equivalent circuit diagram,and explains the control process of doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine.Thirdly,based on the design principle and design principle of traditional alternator,combined with the design experience and key points of MW doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine,this paper makes a preliminary electromagnetic design of a 4.8MW doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine.Then,based on the preliminary electromagnetic design parameters,the design parameters of air gap,stator slot width and rotor slot width are optimized by using NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm.Based on the optimized electromagnetic design parameters,the internal magnetic field,dynamic performance,fault state performance and external circuit control characteristics of the generator are simulated by ANSYS Maxwell 2D finite element software.Finally,this paper analyzes and verifies the prototype of doubly fed asynchronous wind turbine through experiments.The experiments verify the rationality and feasibility of the design and the accuracy of the simulation results.
