User Acceptance Research And Design Application Of Fully Autonomous Vehicles

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,information communication and other technologies,autonomous vehicle(AV)has gradually entered the public eye and has become the main development trend of the global automobile industry.However,despite the immeasurable potential benefits that fully autonomous vehicle(FAV)will bring to our society,the current user acceptance is still far below expectations,which may hinder the further development of this technology.Thus,in the initial stage of the FAV promotion,it has become a key problem to be solved urgently to improve the user acceptance through specific design means.In order to solve this problem,this thesis takes acceptance as the entry point,deeply exploring the influencing factors and establishment mechanism of FAV acceptance,and then proposes an interactive experience design strategy of FAV based on the conclusions.In particular,this thesis firstly conducted systematic theoretical research on the interactive experience design and user acceptance of AV,and then a theoretical model of the FAV acceptance based on pleasure,anxiety and subjective knowledge was constructed.Then,the assumptions and structural relationships in the model were tested through empirical research and quantitative analysis,and the important findings and unsupported hypotheses of this research were then discussed in detail in combination with previous research results.Finally,inspired by the key conclusions obtained in the user acceptance research,an interactive experience design strategy for FAV based on improving user acceptance was proposed,and the application process of the strategy was further demonstrated in combination with design cases.This thesis closely combines academic research with design practice,explores the formation mechanism behind FAV acceptance through empirical research,and then translates the research conclusions into corresponding design strategies to provide practical guidance for the design and development of FAV in the future.Overall,the theoretical and practical significance of this thesis is of great importance.At the theoretical level,this thesis takes the dual-system theory as the research perspective of FAV acceptance,and proposes a theoretical model of acceptance based on affective reactions and knowledge,which expands the understanding perspective and research ideas of acceptance.At the practical application level,this research will provide scientific and reliable practical guidance for the design and development of FAV,helping to achieve a high acceptance of FAVs.In addition,this study investigates the attitudes and opinions of potential users before FAVs are put into the market,which will help to urge relevant policy makers and practitioners to adjust their promotion strategies in a timely manner,thereby further promoting the development of FAV.
