Research On Space Design Of Health Care Hotel Under The Concept Of Old Age

With the increasing number of aged people,China will soon become an "aged country".Due to the rapid aging rate and large scale in China,the society as a whole presents the situation of "getting old before preparation",and China’s traditional pension model has been unable to meet the needs of the elderly.In recent years,health hotels with certain medical properties,rich natural resources and hotel-like services have become popular among the elderly.However,due to the late start and immature development of the domestic old-age care hotels,most old-age care hotels cannot provide a good health environment for the elderly.The author visited well-known domestic old-age care hotels and collected a number of relevant cases,and found the following problems after analysis: 1.In public facilities,the number of rehabilitation and recuperation equipment layout is insufficient and the layout location is unreasonable;2.Similar to ordinary hotel design,not suitable for the middle and long term elderly living;3.The lack of combination of hotel decoration and regional culture makes it difficult for the elderly to resonate with their hometown culture;4.Lack of age-appropriate detail design and emotional design.It can be seen from the case study that at present,China’s age-friendly hotels pay more attention to the physiological needs of the elderly.The design of furniture and other age-friendly hotels is relatively complete,which has basically met the physiological needs of the elderly,but the details and psychological needs are often ignored.The author found that the lack of "sense of belonging" was the concentrated manifestation of the problem through field case investigation and targeted interview with the elderly.The successful cases and both home and abroad were collected for analysis,the absorption to adopt good endowment facilities case belonging to build method,combining theoretical achievements of academic circles for the factors affecting the sense of belonging,upgrading suitable for old type kang have hotel belonging to design construction principles: principle of comfort,security,regional principle,communication principle,enhance their sense of belonging and mainly through the following design: 1.The unitary residential cluster optimizes the spatial layout,improves the accessibility of public facilities and promotes communication between neighbors.2.The molding of hometown cultural atmosphere in the home shortens the emotional distance between the elderly and their hometown.3.On the basis of ensuring the safety of the room,some suitable rehabilitation instruments are placed to improve the health conditions.4.The arrangement of home elements in the living room provides long-term living conditions and also increases the "home" atmosphere of the space.Based on the design of the First Village of Jingchu Health Care as an example,this paper carries out targeted design for the living room space and indoor public space by integrating the hotel with the tujia culture and combining the physiological,psychological and personality characteristics of the elderly,and tries to create:Hotel-style intimate service,warm home,convenient rehabilitation and health activities,and finally design a home for the elderly have a sense of belonging to the health space environment.
