Planning And Design Of Urban Mountain Park

Mountain is the ‘backbone’ of the city,which plays a very important role in laying the landscape pattern of the city.Nowadays,with the expansion of the urban scope,more mountains are included in the urban land,and urban mountain park has as a new form of green space,gradually playing an important role in the urban public green space system.How to strengthen the connection between the mountain and the urban environment,at the same time make the urban mountain environment into the urban mountain park for residents’ leisure activities,exercise and fitness,and to deal with the relationship between ‘park,city and people’ is the focus of this thesis.From the perspective of the relationship between mountain and city,this thesis explores the way to construct the urban mountain park with a good relationship between mountain and city,so as to integrate the urban mountain into the urban environment and realize the virtuous cycle development between the urban mountain park and the urban environment.According to the advantages of urban mountain itself,combined with its ups and downs of vertical space,flexible visual field,hierarchical forest vegetation and other characteristics,give play to the unique landscape function of urban mountain.Combined with the concept of ecological restoration,modern technology is used to restore the damaged and polluted mountain environment,improve the carrying capacity of the mountain ecological environment,coordinate the problems between the urban mountain itself and the urban environment,and give play to the ecological and landscape functions of the urban mountain.Through literature review and field investigation of excellent cases,on the basis of previous studies,the design strategy of urban mountain park is analyzed from the perspective of dealing with the relationship between mountains and cities.(1)At the landscape spatial level,urban mountain park,as a part of urban public green space,should meet the integrity principle of urban public green space system.Combining urban water bodies,squares and greenways,there is a good transition space between the city and the mountain,forming an organic connection in the landscape space.Inside the mountain,landscape nodes are rationally arranged according to different mountain positions of the mountain,so as to create a visual connection between the commanding heights of the mountain and other surrounding mountains or urban facilities.At the same time,considering the mountain contour observed by citizens in the urban environment,as the background of urban architecture,landscape effect should be guaranteed to have a good connection with the urban skyline.(2)At the landscape function level,the first is to give full play to the ecological function of the landscape.Affected by human activities,most mountains in the city have been damaged by mining and environmental pollution to a certain extent.Ecological planning and design of mountain park should try to restore the mountain ecological environment,reduce the impact of rapid urban development on the environment,improve the surrounding microclimate through terrain,plants and water,and improve the quality of life of residents.The second is to enrich the use function of the landscape.In the arrangement of the use function of the city mountain park,citizens mainly understand the needs of citizens for the landscape function,and arrange the site function according to the crowd type,distribution,age composition of the surrounding citizens,so as to meet the expansion and demand of citizens for the urban green space.The third is to improve the beautification function of parks.Urban mountain parks play an important role in the urban green space system.Urban mountain parks with beautiful environment can be used as a window to display the image of the city,beautify the urban environment and improve the overall landscape quality of the city.(3)At the level of landscape culture,the construction of urban mountain park cultural landscape should explore the city culture on a macro scale and highlight the city style and cultural connotation;To build the characteristic mountain cultural landscape on the mesoscale and improve the historical humanity of the area;Improve the permeability of regional culture in the mountain park on the micro scale,and realize the integration of culture and landscape.According to the current situation of Changling Mountain and its surrounding environment,the park design concept of ‘integrating the mountain into the city and connecting the city park’was put forward,and its functional positioning was defined as an urban mountain park that mainly serves the surrounding residents and has certain functions of ecological restoration,science popularization education and cultural display.According to the present situation of Changling Mountain,a reasonable landscape planning and design scheme is proposed.The overall planning of Changling Mountain Park is a landscape space structure of ‘one ring,three axes,nine districts and many points’,and the whole park is divided into nine functional zones:forest protection area,cliff landscape area,leisure activity area,nature experience area,entrance landscape area,terraced landscape area,peach blossom area,sports and entertainment area,and hiking and walking area.Completed vertical design,road design,landscape architecture design,public service facilities and other special design.The main landscape nodes include sunny lawn,children’s playground,rock climbing square,terraced landscape,forest camp,crown cloud pavilion,etc.The overall design of Changling Mountain Park reflects the natural and humanistic characteristics of Changling Mountain Park,meets the needs of surrounding citizens for the landscape function of mountain park,enrichis the urban public green space system,and realizes the integrated development of mountain and city.
