As a green,renewable and recyclable natural material,wood has been an important building material since ancient times.As the main material of modern wood structure,glulam has stronger mechanical properties than traditional wood structure,and the design of section and component shape is flexible.With the gradual development of modern wood structure to high-rise and long-span,due to the limitation of wood span,it is crucial to design a safe and reliable connection method to solve the problem of wood structure length and promote the application of glulam.In order to solve the problem of glulam beam,this thesis will take the π section steel-glulam beam connection composed of northeast larch glulam,Q355 steel,bolts and hexagonal head wood screws as the research object,calculate the bending bearing capacity,and use ABAQUS finite element software to establish a three-dimensional solid nonlinear model,numerical simulation analysis,combined with the above research methods to draw a comprehensive conclusion on the bending performance of the connection method,the main research content of this thesis includes the following aspects:(1)The compressive strength,tensile strength and modulus of elasticity of Larix northeastern gmelinii are determined by referring to the current design code of wood structure in China and related literature.Because wood has anisotropic characteristics,the material properties of glued wood in other directions required in this paper are calculated according to the approximate derivation formulas provided in the code and literature,and the component design is completed.(2)Based on the premise of "yield theory" and the ideal elastoplastic model of pin groove pressure,the calculation formula of bending bearing capacity of π section steel-glulam beam connection is derived by referring to the current design code of wood structure in China and consulting relevant literature.(3)ABAQUS finite element software was used to analyze the bending performance of pure glulam beam members and π section steel-glulam beam connecting members,and by establishing a three-dimensional nonlinear solid model of 10 glulam beam members,by adjusting the edge and row spacing of bolts,the cross-sectional area of bolts,the number and arrangement of wood screws,and the nominal length,different π steel-glulam beam connection models were formed,and the influence of the above influencing factors on the flexural performance of the structure was studied.After comparing the theoretical calculation results of π section steel-glulam beam connection with the finite element simulation results,it can be seen that the calculation method is in good agreement with the finite element simulation results.
