At present,the large-scale construction of high-speed rail is in the stage of accelerated urbanization.The demand for agglomeration development has led to the renewal and transformation of existing large railway hubs and the surrounding areas,and even caused the planning and construction of new passenger stations and the surrounding areas.However,many problems have emerged in the development of the industrial space in the high-speed railway station area.Such as the remote location of some of the newly built high-speed railway stations,which has led to a lack of driving effect of the city on them;the serious lack of industrial and population clustering in some of the newly built station areas,the similar spatial positioning of the industry and the weak industrial foundation,resulting in the poor sustainable development capacity of the station area;and the high-speed railway stations transformed through the central railway station have not The high speed railway stations transformed through the central railway station have not exerted the high speed railway effect of activating and renewing the central area of the city,etc.To address the above issues,firstly,this paper starts from the current characteristics of China’s high-speed railway construction and the problems faced by the current situation of station area industrial space,and grasps that China’s high-speed railway station construction presents the characteristics of mainly renovating central stations and building new marginal and suburban stations.Secondly,after an in-depth analysis of the studies of various scholars at home and abroad,it is found that the location of high-speed railway stations is an important factor affecting the industrial space of station areas.This paper takes into account the fact that the industrial spatial evolution characteristics and directions of high-speed railway station areas in different zones are quite different.Therefore,based on the different locations,the urban central station area,which is mainly converted,and the urban peripheral station area,which is mainly newly built,are selected as the research objects,and the service industry is used as the industrial research category,which can better reflect the actual construction background of China’s high-speed rail and the industrial development direction of the station area.Furthermore,this paper summarizes the theory of the dynamics of the development and evolution of the industrial space of high-speed railway station areas,the basic characteristics of station locations and analyses the impact of station location conditions on the industrial space of high-speed railway station areas,providing a theoretical basis for empirical research.In terms of empirical research,this paper selects the central and peripheral station areas of five mega and mega cities as research cases by controlling for other factors that have an important influence on the industrial space of high-speed railway station areas through a hierarchy of screening.By comparing the variability of their industrial spaces,this paper focuses on the industrial spatial information of high-speed rail station areas in different zones.Specifically,this paper uses micro-enterprise data from the first year of HSR opening to the end of 2021,and uses statistical-econometric analysis,grid density analysis and kernel density analysis in conjunction with the historical and regional context of the stations to study in depth the characteristics of industrial structure evolution and industrial agglomeration evolution in HSR station areas.At the same time,this paper uses historical analysis and horizontal and vertical comparison analysis to comprehensively identify the current development positioning,current characteristics and practical problems of the industrial space of high-speed railway station areas in different regions of China,and to clarify the characteristics and evolution mechanisms of the industrial space evolution of high-speed railway station areas at a more in-depth level.Finally,the findings of the study are drawn from two sources.First,the changes in the industrial structure of the service industry in typical city centre stations and fringe station areas are examined in terms of the industrial structure over the years combined with the number of new enterprises added each year.In addition,through a comparative analysis of the evolutionary characteristics of the industrial structure of typical urban central stations and edge stations,the differences and commonalities in the evolutionary characteristics of the industrial structure of urban central stations and edge stations are summarized,among which the differences are:(1)due to the different regional environment they are based on,the service industry system of urban central stations is more complete than that of edge stations in the early years of the opening of the HSR.(2)After the opening of the HSR,by the end of 2021,the industrial structure of the urban fringe station area will have changed significantly compared to the central station area.(3)The impact of the HSR passenger flow economy on the urban fringe station area is greater than that of the urban central station area.The commonalities are:(1)The production service,distribution service and social service industries in the urban central station area and the urban fringe station area show similarity in the type of industry with the largest increase in enterprises;the consumer service industry shows heterogeneity.(2)The evolutionary characteristics of the industrial structure of urban central station areas and urban peripheral station areas have internal differences.Through a comparative analysis of the positioning and industrial structure evolution characteristics of the same urban central station and peripheral station area,this paper further clarifies the advantages and priorities of the industrial spatial development of urban central station and peripheral station area.Finally,the underlying characteristics and evolutionary mechanisms of the spatial evolution and development of industries in the station areas of the city centre and edge stations are analyzed in depth.Secondly,the spatial clustering of industries in different zones of high-speed railway station areas in typical cities is analyzed using the methods of enterprise grid density analysis and nuclear density analysis.Moreover,through the comparative analysis of the overall clustering pattern of industrial space in the station areas of city centre stations and edge stations,it is concluded that:(1)The increase in the number of enterprises in the station areas of city centre stations and edge stations is directional in space.(2)The overall clustering pattern of industrial space in the city centre station and edge station station areas shows an opposite trend.At the same time,through a comparative analysis of the spatial agglomeration evolution of each industry group in the industrial space of the city centre station and edge station areas,it is concluded that:(1)The commonalities and differences in the spatial agglomeration evolution of the primary and secondary classified industries in the city centre station and edge station areas.The production service,consumption service and social service industries have the same agglomeration trend in the city centre station and the city edge station station area;the distribution service industry shows the opposite trend.(2)There is an overlap of agglomeration points in the spatial evolution of industries in the urban centre and peripheral station areas.Finally,the spatial clustering mechanism of industries in urban central stations and peripheral stations is analyzed from the demand and supply sides of industries,and the spatial clustering paths of urban central stations and peripheral stations are analyzed.Based on the above comparative studies,this paper carries out research on the evolutionary characteristics of the industrial space in the station area of high-speed rail based on the theories of urban and rural planning,economic geography and other disciplines,with empirical research and theoretical research complementing each other.This not only enriches the microscopic study of the industrial space of high-speed rail in the station area,but also has certain significance for the interdisciplinary theoretical research.Moreover,against the background of the national policy that "the future location of high-speed railway stations should avoid being far away from urban agglomerations",focusing on urban centre stations and urban fringe stations,the study of the basic characteristics and evolutionary features of the industrial space of the more mature high-speed railway station areas in China is essential for promoting the rational location of high-speed railway stations,the rational allocation of the industrial structure of station areas,the It is of great significance to promote the rational location of high-speed railway stations,the rational allocation of industrial structure in station areas,the play of the catalytic role of high-speed railway and the promotion of station-city integration.
