Research On The Protection And Renewal Of Residential Historic Blocks Based On The Collage City Theory

Historical and cultural blocks record the process of urban change and are the epitome of urban cultural society.Residential historical and cultural district is the main place bearing the city life and residents’ memory,the growing and inheriting place of folk customs,and the concentrated display place of urban history,culture and historical relics,which condenses the change and development of the city.It plays a great role in studying and understanding regional culture and carrying forward and inheriting cultural spirit.However,with the development of society,the acceleration of urbanization,the change and improvement of residents’ living demands,coupled with the fact that the protection of historical and cultural blocks in China mostly focuses on the protection of the main body of the block,and pays little attention to residents’ needs,living space and environment of the block,and the living environment and quality of residents are quite different from modern life,leading to the gradual decline of the block.How to improve the space environment of residential historical and cultural blocks on the basis of protecting the historical features of residential historical and cultural blocks,so as to improve the living quality of residents and meet the new needs of residents has become an important topic in the current research on the protection and renewal of residential historical and cultural blocks.This paper takes Jinan Qushuiting--Houzeimen Block as an example,guided by the theory of "collage city",and aims at coordinating the protection of the historical style of residential historical and cultural block with the improvement of the spatial environment of the block and the improvement of residents’ living quality,to renew and design the environment of residential historical and cultural block.From the three levels of block,street and building,this paper innovatively proposes the renewal design strategy of residential historical and cultural block,which is "building space function replacement collage--street space environment mixed collage--street public space repair collage",and applies it to the environmental transformation design practice.It is hoped that this study can provide reference for environmental protection renewal of residential historical and cultural blocks.
