With the rapid development of Chinese construction industry, the increasing of labor resources and the increasing requirement of environmental protection, prefabricated buildings came into being.Prefabricated buildings are the main components such as beams, plates and columns made in prefabrication plants transported to the construction site for installation and connection, rather than on-site pouring, which has the advantages of high construction efficiency, short construction period, good construction quality and high economic and environmental benefits. However, after a lot of experimental research and engineering practice,it is found that the prefabricated building also has a drawback that cannot be ignored: poor integrity.Because of its good mechanical properties, steel reinforced concrete structure is often used in super high-rise buildings or transfer floor and other important parts, but the construction is difficult and the cost is high,so it can not be popularized in large scale in the project. In view of this,a new type of Prefabricated Steel Reinforced Concrete(PSRC)column is proposed in this paper, which combines the advantages of both section steel and prefabricated concrete members, and has excellent mechanical properties and the characteristics of industrial production of prefabricated members.Six 1:2 scale models were designed and made, among which 5 were connected by the proposed new joint and 1 was connected by the conventional cast-in-place method.Pseudo-static tests were carried out on the 6 specimens. The effects of axial compression ratio, shear span ratio and hoop ratio on the seismic performance of the prefabricated steel concrete column and the strain of steel and reinforcement were studied. The results show that the new prefabricated steel concrete column has better seismic performance. Then, the large general finite element software ABAQUS was used to establish 6 finite element models exactly the same as test specimens. After adjustment and trial calculation for many times, appropriate modeling and analysis methods were obtained, and the finite element calculation results were compared with the test results, which proved the correctness of the finite element modeling method.Based on this, four models were established for parameter expansion analysis.A parameter that was not considered in the test was introduced, namely section steel rate,to simulate the condition that each parameter of the specimen changed to different levels, and the law of the joint performance changing with each parameter was studied. The results can be used for reference in engineering practice.
