Pipelines play an important role in the field of industrial transportation,but due to the reasons of pipeline aging,external damage and chemical corrosion cause pipeline damage,the serious damage will lead to pipeline leakage and cause danger to people’s lives and property safety.Ultrasonic guided wave nondestructive testing technology has the advantages of long detection distance,wide coverage and no damage,and is suitable for industrial pipeline health monitoring.In order to monitor the health status of pipeline in service and find potential risks in time for maintenance,it is necessary to develop a set of pipeline health monitoring system based on ultrasonic guided wave with accurate detection and stable working status.In this paper,the physical characteristics of ultrasonic guided wave propagation in the pipeline are analyzed.The sensor unit made of piezoelectric ceramics is used to stimulate the guided wave and receive the echo signal.The hardware circuit,system control program and upper computer software were built based on ultrasonic guided wave nondestructive testing theory.Zynq-7000 series xc7z045 SOC chip was used to realize the real-time monitoring of pipeline health by stimulating and receiving ultrasonic guided wave through piezoelectric ceramic sensor array.The hardware circuit design of the system is mainly composed of SOC FPGA main control module,system power module,high voltage amplifier circuit,bandpass filter amplifier circuit,mixed analog signal conversion circuit and signal isolation circuit.The system control program mainly includes SOC FPGA system control program and SOC ARM ethernet communication program.The SOC FPGA used hardware description language to generate guided wave signal and collect echo signal.The collected data of SOC FPGA is processed by CIC extraction and then sent to DDR of SOC ARM through AXI bus for storage.The SOC ARM built the lightweight network protocol stack to realize TCP/IP Ethernet communication and sends the collected data to the PC.In order to facilitate the monitoring of echo signal,Lab VIEW software is used to build the upper computer program,and the working state of the system can be configured through the upper computer.Through the debugging and performance test of the software and hardware system,the pipeline health monitoring system can accurately locate pipeline defect and monitor the change of defect depth under the working mode of transceiver integration.
