Research On The Influence Of Regional Port Integration On Port Efficiency Of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port

With the continuous advancement of port construction in China and the continuous expansion of port scale,the problem of repeated investment and homogenization of port construction has gradually deepened.At present,the state has issued a number of policies to promote the integrated development of regional ports,avoid disorderly development and homogeneous competition of regional ports,and optimize the allocation of port resources.Among them,the port integration reform of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in Zhejiang Province has achieved certain results,but there is still a lack of empirical support for whether the regional port integration reform really promotes the development of ports in the actual process.Therefore,how to effectively evaluate the impact of regional port integration reform on port development is a key problem to be solved in the study.In this context,from the perspective of port efficiency,this paper uses actual data to analyze the impact of regional port integration reform on Ningbo-Zhoushan port development.By studying the existing literature and combing the current situation of China ’ s regional port integration reform,this paper takes the ports that are not affected by the regional port integration reform at the provincial level as the control group,and takes the port efficiency from 2010 to 2018 as the sample data.The super-efficiency SBM model is used to measure the efficiency of relevant ports,and the port efficiency of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is compared and analyzed from the horizontal and vertical perspectives.On this basis,the composite control method is used to empirically explore the impact of regional port integration reform on the port efficiency of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port.The results show that there is a significant difference between the real port efficiency value of Ningbo-Zhoushan port and the synthetic port efficiency value of Ningbo-Zhoushan port.The real port efficiency value is higher than the synthetic port efficiency value,and the difference is gradually expanding.That is,the regional port integration reform has a positive impact on the port efficiency of Ningbo-Zhoushan port,and has a certain significance.
