| During the 13 th Five-Year Plan period,the scale of China’s higher education has been increasing.Engineering education accounts for the highest proportion of higher education,accounting for about one third,and has attracted more and more public attention.In 2017,the new engineering education and teaching reform was launched,aiming to cultivate outstanding engineering and technical talents in line with the needs of the future industry.Ethnic minority college students have shown many problems in the process of adapting to the traditional single engineering major training,and will face more challenges in the process of responding to the new diversified and personalized needs of education and training,which further urges colleges and universities to pay more attention to the academic guidance of ethnic minority college students.Many studies show that the academic guidance of colleges and universities in China is in urgent need of development,and the corresponding optimization strategies are also discussed.However,most of the studies are case studies of domestic colleges and universities or experience summary of foreign colleges and universities,and lack of investigation on the current situation of academic guidance of ethnic minority college students.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate and analyze the academic guidance of minority college students.Based on the above practical problems,this study is based on the education ecosystem theory,dialogue theory and participatory learning theory,and systematically use the methods of interview,questionnaire and literature research.Primarily,on the premise of sorting out relevant documents,according to the real situation of minority students in T University,this paper establishes a questionnaire suitable for this study,in order to understand the development of academic guidance of Engineering minority students.The research shows that,on the whole,there are some problems in the academic guidance of Engineering minority college students,such as the low participation of the guidance object,the dependence of the guidance force on a single subject,the need to perfect and standardize the guidance link,and the need to improve the richness of the guidance content.Secondly,through interviews with minority college students,counselors and teachers,we can further explore the reasons behind the existing problems.The main factors of guidance,namely the student level,the teacher level and the objective environment factors,namely the system level and the learning environment level,have different degrees of influence on the development of the academic guidance of Engineering minority college students.Finally,based on the current problems of academic guidance,combined with the reality of new engineering education and teaching reform in China,this study propose the way to push on the academic advising of Engineering minority college students.T University has made a useful exploration and attempt in the academic advising of ethnic minority students,but there are still some problems and deficiencies.Based on this,this study thinks that the academic guidance of Engineering ethnic minority students should be carried out from the following four aspects: cultivating the subject consciousness of ethnic minority students in the aspect of students’ participation in learning;building the interaction between teachers and students in the aspect of teacher construction In the aspect of system guarantee,we should improve and standardize all aspects of academic advising and cooperate with the advantages inside and outside the school in the aspect of learning environment support. |
