With the continuous improvement of automation of electric systems and related key technologies,distributed generation uses renewable energy to generate electricity,which can make full use of abundant renewable energy such as solar energy and wind energy in some parts of our country to achieve local consumption.In addition,it can ease energy tensions and reduce environmental pollution caused by the use of primary energy.As a result,distributed generation technology has gained rapid development.The traditional distribution network is transformed from a radial single power network to a complex multi-power network due to the access of distributed generation.In addition,the direction of power flow and fault current becomes two-way flow,so the accuracy and adaptability of traditional fault location method of distribution network are reduced,and it cannot be fully applied to the distribution network system with distributed generation.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the fault location method of distribution network with distributed generation to improve the reliability and operation stability of distribution network.In this paper,the differential evolution wolf pack algorithm is introduced into the fault location of distribution networks with distributed generation,and further research is carried out through the improvement of the algorithm and the construction of fault location models with DG.Firstly,aiming at the shortcomings of premature convergence and easy fall into the local optimum of the wolf pack algorithm,the differential evolution factor is introduced to improve the algorithm and the differential evolution wolf pack algorithm is proposed.By introducing mutation,crossover,and selection factors to enrich the diversity of the population and improve the global search performance of the algorithm,the individuals who are trapped in the local optimum in the algorithm population have the ability to jump out of the local area for global search.Secondly,aiming at the influence of distributed power on fault location of distribution network,the fault characteristics of distribution network with DG are analyzed in detail.Based on the traditional distribution network,the fault location mathematical model of distribution network with DG is constructed,which is divided into three aspects: the fault current information coding method,the switching function and the evaluation function.Finally,the algorithm studied in this paper is applied to the IEEE 33-node distribution network with DG model.In the case of different switching status of the DG and whether the fault information is distorted or missing,the simulation analysis of single-point fault,multi-point fault and fault tolerance performance on distribution network with DG shows that the algorithm can be effectively applied to the fault location distribution network with DG and has excellent accuracy and fault tolerance.The fault location method is improved by the above two aspects and it provides a new solution to the problem of the fault location of distribution network with DG,which has strong practical value.
