Earth-rock dam is one of the important dam types in hydraulic engineering.Earth-rock dam project is a very important part of water conservancy project construction,an important foundation to ensure the quali ty of water conservancy project construction,and is related to the success or failure of project construction.The design of the earth-rock dam hub is very important for the implementation of the project.Through scheme comparison and selection,make a re asonable,standardized and scientific engineering design,effectively ensure the rationality of the project cost and the smooth implementation of the project,so as to give full play to the benefits of the water conservancy project after the project constr uction and benefit the country and the people.Taking Xiaoqing reservoir as the research object,this thesis makes a scientific research on the project design.This thesis describes the history and characteristics of embankment dams.The design of earth roc k dam hydroproject is briefly summarized,including basic data,dam site selection,hydroproject composition and layout,etc.This thesis introduces the basic situation of Xiaoqing Reservoir,expounds the necessity of reservoir construction,determines the project task and scale by analyzing the physical geography and hydrological characteristics of the basin,and determines the width of the spillway control section through flood routing.The regional geology,reservoir hydrogeology and hydro engineering ge ological conditions of the hydroproject area are described,and the location,reserves and geotechnical test parameters of each material yard are analyzed.The schemes of dam site and dam type are compared and selected.After selection,the general layout of the dam is described,and the dam is designed in detail,including determination of dam crest elevation,dam section design,inverted filter design,curtain grouting design,and dam seepage stability analysis.According to the recommended scheme of the dam,the axis of the spillway layout on the left and right banks shall be compared and selected.After selection,the layout of the spillway shall be described,and the spillway shall be designed in detail,including discharge capacity calculation,water s urface line calculation,energy dissipation design,numerical calculation,structural stability calculation and structural calculation.After the axis of water conveyance tunnel and diversion water conveyance tunnel is determined,the corresponding layout is described and detailed design is carried out,including hydraulic calculation and lining structure calculation.The selected calculation model is RNG κ-ε Two equation turbulence model and volume function method(VOF)are used to track and capture the free surface.The hydraulic elements in the spillway under different working conditions are numerically simulated and calculated,and the numerical calculation results are analyzed.The distribution rules of hydraulic elements in the spillway are summarized to provide guidance for the operation and protection of the spillway.At present,the main project of Xiaoqing reservoir has been basically completed,which fully verifies the scientificity and feasibility of the engineering design.
