Urban road network includes external road network,internal road network and its connecting road network.The connecting road network is the converter of internal and external road network traffic,and the external expressway is an important part of the external road network.With the rapid development of economy and society and the continuous acceleration of urbanization,people’s travel demand is increasing,and the demand for conversion traffic inside and outside the city is also growing rapidly,which has brought huge traffic pressure to the connecting road network.Aiming at the problem of traffic conversion between urban road network and external expressway network,this paper studies the traffic demand adaptability of expressway toll station,which is the end of the connecting part of the connecting road network.The main research work is as follows:(1)Analysis of influencing factors and determination of weight.Starting with the adaptability of traffic demand,this paper puts forward the concept of traffic demand adaptability of expressway toll station,and deeply analyzes the connotation and influencing factors of traffic demand adaptability of expressway toll station from three aspects:supply and demand adaptation,location adaptation and service quality adaptation;The traffic demand adaptability evaluation index system of expressway toll station is established from the two levels of single toll station and local toll station.The main evaluation indexes are the utilization degree of single(local)expressway toll station,the service area of single(local)expressway toll station,the overlap rate of service scope of local Expressway toll station and the service level matching degree of single(local)expressway toll station;Entropy weight method is combined with grey correlation analysis method to determine the weight of adaptability evaluation index;The traffic demand adaptability of each single(local)expressway toll station is calculated by combining the actual index value and index weight.(2)Adaptability classification.The K-means clustering algorithm is combined with the Kmeans clustering algorithm,which is easy to adapt to the performance of the wolf clustering algorithm.(3)Case study.This method is applied to the toll station in the connection part of the Third Ring Road in Changsha City,and the adaptability grade is divided by using the improved model from the two levels of single toll station and local toll station;For low-grade toll stations,improvement suggestions are put forward from the aspects of connecting the road network and operation management.From the perspective of adaptability,this paper puts forward the concept of traffic demand adaptability,evaluates and grades expressway toll stations based on adaptability,and gives improvement suggestions for expressway toll stations from the perspective of adaptability.It provides a new idea from the perspective of traffic demand adaptability for the follow-up study of urban connection network.
