In the process of highway asphalt pavement construction,the construction quality determines the stability of its important index parameters and also directly affects the service life of asphalt pavement after molding.During the construction period,there are many factors that affect the quality of asphalt pavement construction,and the different degrees of influence brought by the key indicators to the construction quality can be reflected through testing and inspection,which can also reflect the regularity of its occurrence of variability,so that project managers can target control measures to ensure that the quality of the project is qualified.By querying and analyzing relevant domestic and foreign literature data,combined with the actual construction of the Zamalong-Daotanghe expressway reconstruction and expansion project in Qinghai province,the paper starts from the perspective of analyzing the variability of asphalt pavement construction quality,and analyzes the raw materials of asphalt mixture in the process of expressway asphalt pavement construction.The production quality of asphalt mixture and the variability in the compaction molding process are analyzed and researched,correspondingly management measures are proposed.When studying the variability of the raw materials of asphalt mixtures,the thesis mainly analyzes the performance of aggregate and asphalt.Among them,there are different degrees of variability in aggregate specifications,size,gradation,needle flake content,and mud content.The three main control indexes of asphalt,ductility,softening point and penetration,show certain variability.In the asphalt mixture in the production process,the variation of asphalt content is closely related to the void ratio,stability,flow value,etc.,which is the main cause of pavement water damage and rutting;by calculating the fluctuation range of aggregate particle gradation,it is found that the coefficient of variation is mainly related to the sieve size;and the temperature of the discharge is more stable,and the variability of the arrival temperature is relatively small under the relatively fixed transportation distance,and the variability of temperature is mainly The variability of temperature is mainly concentrated in the paving and rolling stages.In the process of asphalt mixture compaction,the two key indicators of compaction and levelness were mainly studied and analyzed with the project site testing data,in which several key indicators,such as underbearing layer,paving equipment,rolling process,rolling temperature and mix grading,have a greater impact on compaction and levelness.Finally,the influence of asphalt mixture segregation on pavement performance was analyzed through field tests,and control measures to reduce segregation were proposed.The paper uses statistical analysis method,relies on the physical project,summarizes the causes of variability in each link of asphalt pavement construction process based on test data and field inspection,determines the key factors affecting the quality of asphalt pavement construction,and proposes management measures to reduce variability,which is of great practical significance to promote the quality control of asphalt pavement construction process and improve the quality management level of the project.
