Chinese civilization has a splendid culture of more than 5000 years.So far,a large number of ancient buildings have been preserved in different forms and of great significance,recording the development process of ancestors for thousands of years.Due to historical reasons,the number of ancient masonry-timber structures in China is the largest.In recent decades,with the rapid development of China’s economy,people’s material needs have been greatly met.At the same time,the demand for spiritual civilization has also increased.People began to pay more attention to the inheritance and protection of traditional culture,and have a high enthusiasm for the repair and protection of ancient buildings.However,because the ancient building repair project does not belong to the mainstream project,it has strong uniqueness,late start and slow development,and the quality management level needs to be further improved.In view of this,by strengthening the quality management of masonry-timber structure ancient building repair project,we can realize the effective protection of masonry-timber structure ancient buildings in China,which plays a great role in improving the quality management ability of ancient building repair and protecting China’s brilliant cultural achievements.At the same time,China’s ancient construction industry can promote the long-term development of high quality and create new jobs in the field of economic and cultural protection in the world.The logical idea of "raising problems,analyzing problems and solving problems" is followed in the thesis.Firstly,we have fully collected and consulted the literature,found out many common problems in the design stage,procurement stage and construction stage in the quality management process of masonry-timber structure ancient building repair projects in China,and deeply analyzed the causes of the problems.Secondly,the paper analyzes the advanced repair management cases of domestic masonry-timber structure ancient buildings: the principles that should be followed in the repair quality management of masonry-timber structure ancient buildings are clarified through the cases.Finally,we get the Enlightenment of scientifically establishing the talent training program,arranging the equipment use plan,taking multiple measures to ensure the reliability of materials,and BIM Technology providing new management means and actively dealing with the risk of environmental change.Finally,combined with the above research,based on BIM Technology,the thesis puts forward some suggestions to improve the quality management of renovating ancient buildings of masonry-timber structure in China from five aspects: human,machine,material,method and environment.In terms of personnel,we should improve the awareness of quality management in all aspects,strengthen the training of professional managers and establish a scientific and perfect talent reserve mechanism;In terms of equipment,we should increase the investment in advanced equipment and apply BIM Technology to optimize the site layout scheme;In terms of materials,it is suggested to build material model database and construction material collaborative management platform;In terms of methods,it is suggested to use 3D scanning detection to collect basic data,deepen the design through BIM technology,and use BIM technology for visual technical disclosure;In terms of environment,we should optimize the management structure and management mechanism,speed up the construction of information management platform and simulate the construction environment.
