| Urban street space between campuses is a special street space generated by most of the closed management campus mode in China.However,due to the early construction and expansion of the simple lecture campus separation,in the urban rapid development model,the early lack of unified planning and design,making it a neglected space.Firstly,this thesis combs the concept and classification of urban street space between campuses,and then analyzes the characteristics of urban street space between campuses at home and abroad.Respectively from the foreign urbanization colleges and universities and urbanization colleges and universities,as well as domestic from the open campus,campus industry,campus context protection three aspects of the design of colleges and universities,analysis of its spatial status and street characteristics,to explore the domestic and foreign colleges and universities in the face of urban streets in different ways and learn from each other.In this thesis,Wuhan colleges and universities as the typical research object of intercampus city streets,according to the classification of inter-campus streets,three colleges and universities and their inter-campus city streets are selected,and detailed field research and questionnaire survey are carried out.The street space ontology is studied from six aspects of relationship,function,scale,interface,node and facility in space,and the main body of space activity in the street is investigated from four aspects of subject type,activity characteristics,space satisfaction and space demand.According to the analysis of the survey results,there are problems : the contradiction between pedestrians and vehicles at the transportation level,the insufficient development of street commerce at the functional level and the closure of the campus boundary,the lack of spatial sense of place caused by the lack of design for the space itself at the spatial level,and the lack of cultural factor design for the campus itself at the cultural level.Finally,through the study of the current situation of Wuhan university campus street,combined with similar street cases at home and abroad,summed up the design method which is beneficial to optimize the street space between university campuses.Based on the four design principles of local street reconstruction,campus boundary flexibility,campus space connection and the overall symbiosis of the school city,it is summarized as the following four strategies : combing the walking process at the traffic level,optimizing street walking to ensure street traffic order;in the functional level to improve the campus street semi-open space design,optimize the street commercial function;optimize the spatial scale and vitality at the spatial level,improve the campus sense of place in the street;at the humanistic level,street symbols are designed to connect with the overall context of the campus.This thesis takes the urban streets between campuses as the main research object,and takes optimizing the overall vitality of the streets as the core purpose,which has certain reference significance for the boundary transformation and quality improvement of the opening up of closed universities in China.In the context of continuous urban renewal and development,it will also have certain practical value for the interactive integration and common development among universities,streets and cities. |
