How to promote the coordinated operation of urban rail transit and buses is a pressing issue for the development of public transportation in China at present.From the perspective of passenger transfer in the article,the bus timetable is optimized based on urban rail transit transfer by reducing the total waiting perception time of passengers transfer.Through this method,it will eventually increase the transfer efficiency between urban rail transit and bus.The main work and conclusions of this paper are as follows.(1)This paper introduces the relevant theories of the coordination between urban rail transit and bus.Compare the basic characteristics of the two kinds of transportation,and determine the functional positioning of each in the urban public transport system.Discussed the inevitability of competition and cooperation between two types of transportation.On this basis,the connotation and principles of transfer coordination between the two modes of transportation are clarified,and the transfer coordination measures and their evaluation indicators are proposed.(2)Explore the distribution pattern of passengers’ transfer walking time.By analyzing the transfer behavior of passengers at actual transfer stations,using the method of manual survey,random sampling is carried out on the transfer walking time of passengers.After analyzing the properties of Normal distribution,Gamma distribution and Weibull distribution,fit the data and verify the Q-Q statistical plot.It is found that the distribution of transfer walking time is more in consistent with the Weibull distribution function.(3)An optimization model of bus timetable at transfer stations is established.Established a bus timetable optimization model for transfer stations.The model has the optimization objective of reducing the total waiting perception time during the study period.Optimize and adjust the bus departure timetable for connecting urban rail transit during the study period.The waiting situation of passengers who transfer from urban rail transit to bus is divided into three types: "just in time","just miss" and "the others",establish a model after discussing the waiting perception time under different wait types.The improved selection operator genetic algorithm and the improved crossover operator genetic algorithm are designed to solve the models respectively.(4)Case study.Taking the urban rail transit connecting bus at Jinniuhu Station in Nanjing during peak hours as an example,based on the optimization model of bus timetable at transfer station,the improved selection operator genetic algorithm and improved crossover operator genetic algorithm are used to solve the problem respectively.The total waiting perception time of uneven departure of bus obtained by the improved selection operator genetic algorithm is reduced by 44.9% compared with the total waiting perception time of the original uniform departure.The total waiting perception time of the uneven departure of bus obtained by the improved crossover operator genetic algorithm is reduced by 40.3% compared with that of the original uniform departure.The conclusions indicate that,the total waiting perception time for passengers during uneven departures of bus is lower and that the improved selection operator genetic algorithm is more suitable for the solution of this model.
