In recent years,with the continuous improvement of industrialization,the amount of industrial solid waste is increasing day by day.As a kind of industrial solid waste,the application of red mud in water-stable base can improve the mechanical properties.Although relevant scholars at home and abroad have conducted a lot of research on this and achieved some results,the harm of red mud to the environment has not been reduced.At the same time,with the increasing number of used cars in China,it is very difficult to deal with used tires.According to relevant literature,grinding old tires into rubber powder and adding it into the road base can significantly improve the crack resistance of the water-stable base.Therefore,combined with the advantages of red mud and rubber powder,this paper conducted a systematic experimental study on their mechanical properties and durability,so as to realize the application of the two solid wastes in the grassroots.The main work contents are as follows:(1)Determination of basic properties of test raw materials and determination of optimal mix ratio.The physicochemical properties of the two solid wastes,red mud and rubber powder,were tested and analyzed.The gradation median method was used to determine the gradation of the dense skeleton.The three-factor and three-level orthogonal test was designed,and the compressive strength and crack resistance were selected as the analysis indicators.,according to the range analysis and the influence order of each factor to determine the optimal mix ratio of the experiment.(2)Based on the optimal mixture ratio obtained by orthogonal test and the test results,the influence law of different mechanical properties of water-stabilized macadam mixed with red mud and rubber powder was analyzed by comparing the water-stabilized macadam mixed with ordinary water stabilized macadam.According to the Weibull distribution theory and the method of the rock statistical damage constitutive model,the stress-strain relationship curve of the water-stabilized macadam is established,and the model curve is compared with the actual test curve to verify the reliability of the model.(3)According to the optimal mixture ratio parameters,the durability tests of water-stabilized gravel base were carried out,such as freeze-thaw cycle,dry shrinkage and temperature shrinkage,and the influence laws of water-stabilized gravel specimens mixed with rubber powder from red mud and ordinary water-stabilized gravel were compared.Finally,the feasibility analysis of two kinds of industrial solid waste is carried out from the aspects of technology,economy and environment.(4)The fatigue cycle life of water stabilized gravel specimens after freezing and thawing is studied.The fatigue test was carried out by using two loading modes of increasing and constant amplitude,and the regression curve of fatigue life was established according to the influence of various factors on fatigue life by using range analysis and Matlab matrix analysis.The results show that all parameter points are evenly distributed in the surface diagram.
