The use of waste rubber powder and waste plastic to prepare rubber-plastic modified asphalt can significantly improve the high and low temperature performance of asphalt and realize the reasonable use of waste materials,while reducing the construction cost of roads and promoting the development of road materials.The waste rubber powder pretreated by the desulfurization process can improve the problems of high viscosity,easy to isolate and irritating odor of the traditional rubber asphalt.Therefore,in this paper,the desulfurized rubber powder and PE material are used as modifiers and prepared according to a certain preparation process A and B two types of rubber-plastic modified asphalt,focusing on the technical performance of asphalt,asphalt mixture design,road performance and compaction characteristics.In this paper,two types of rubber and plastic asphalt were prepared through laboratory tests and their conventional indicators and rheological properties were studied.The results show that:Type A and B rubber and plastic modified asphalt meet the existing specifications and have good storage stability At the same time,the hightemperature grade of B-type rubber-plastic modified asphalt can reach PG82,and the high-temperature grade of A-type rubber-plastic modified asphalt reaches PG88;in terms of low temperature performance,B-type asphalt is better than SBS modified asphalt,and reflects the material’s crack resistance In terms of stiffness modulus index,A type is also better than SBS modified asphalt,but it is slightly lower than SBS modified asphalt in terms of the sensitivity of reaction asphalt and the m value of stress relaxation performance.This paper uses AC-20 and SMA-13 to verify the road performance of A-type and B-type rubber-plastic modified asphalt mixtures respectively.In the design of B-type rubber-plastic modified asphalt SMA,without adding fiber stabilizer,the performance is the same Meet the specifications.Through laboratory tests,the road performance of A-type and B-type asphalt mixtures was studied and compared with SBS,rubber,and anti-rut asphalt mixtures.The results showed that:A-type and B-type rubber-modified asphalt mixtures All volumetric.performance indicators and road performance indicators meet the requirements of the specification,in which the dynamic stability is 7070 times/mm and 7312 times/mm,and the maximum bending strain is 3348με and 3514με,respectively.This shows that the high-and low-temperature road performance of rubber-plastic modified asphalt mixture reaches or surpasses that of ordinary SBS modified asphalt mixture,and its advantages in low-temperature crack resistance are also obvious,far exceeding that of ordinary SBS modified asphalt mixture.2500~3000με level.Therefore,in terms of the mixture,the rubber-plastic modified asphalt mixture has better high temperature and low temperature performance.In order to solve the problem of difficult construction compaction of rubber-plastic modified asphalt under low temperature conditions,this paper selects two different warm mixing agents to study the compaction of rubber-plastic modified asphalt.The research shows that the warm mix has a good cooling effect on the rubber-plastic modified asphalt;for organic viscosity reducers,two types of 95#and 110#are selected for comparative analysis,110#can not only reduce the compaction temperature Tie can also improve the high temperature performance,95#is not ideal in improving high temperature performance,but it is more effective than 110#in improving the compaction performance of the mixture;for the warm mix H,for the warm mix H,the rotary pressure is used The effect of decreasing the porosity of the actually formed test piece is more significant,and the effect of the Marshall compacted test piece is not obvious.It may be because the warming agent H can promote compaction under the condition of rotary compaction with kneading effect.In the actual project,the rubber and plastic modification technology is applied,and the construction quality of the rubber and plastic modified asphalt mixture is controlled in combination with the test section.The detection indicators meet the requirements of relevant specifications,which can provide a certain reference for similar projects;Compared with the control group’s SBS modified asphalt pavement,the average noise of rubber-plastic modified asphalt pavement is reduced by 3.7dB(outside the car)and 2.8dB(inside the car),and the noise reduction effect of rubberplastic modified asphalt pavement is outstanding.
