The outbreak of COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020 has led to the closure of public places such as urban parks.The disadvantages of urban parks such as high concentration,low mobility,and small social distance have been exposed.Numerous studies have shown that urban parks have a significant impact on human physical and mental health,social well-being,and ecological environment.This epidemic has once again sounded the alarm for mankind,and society’s concern for public health has brought new opportunities and challenges to urban parks.Under the trend of irreversible urbanization and high-density urban development,it is necessary to re-examine urban parks systematically.The content of the comparative study of Chinese and British urban parks is mainly divided into four parts.In the first part,by reviewing and summarizing the development of Sino-British urban parks,we will sort out the development context and sort out related theoretical research,clarify the theoretical basis and background of the research objects,and provide support for further research.The second part includes the definition of Sino-British urban parks,the classification of Sino-British urban parks,the provisions on urban parks in relevant Chinese and British laws and regulations,the culture of Sino-British urban parks,the overall design of Sino-British urban parks,and the accessibility of Sino-British urban parks.On the other hand,it analyzes the differences between urban parks in China and Britain.This part contains two levels.The first level is to analyze the impact of urban parks’ connotations,policies,and culture on the construction of the park;the second level is to analyze the accessibility of the park by analyzing the construction of urban parks.It is hoped that by analyzing British urban parks and comparing Chinese urban parks with them,we can correctly understand the problems existing in the current construction of Chinese urban parks.In the third part,in response to the changes in people’s life needs in the post-epidemic era,as well as the requirements of emergency prediction,and the improvement of public health,the mechanism of urban parks in improving public health,drawing on the experience of park construction in British cities,and proposing the improvement of urban parks in China And upgrade strategies to establish and improve Chinese urban parks in the post-epidemic era.The fourth part takes the redesign of Shiyashan Park in Quanzhou as an example to verify and compare the above strategies. |
