At present,China’s steel industry has high energy consumption and serious environmental pollution, and energy conservation is of great significance to achieve sustainable development in the steel industry. The optimization of the main energy sources in the gas and steam power system can effectively improve the efficiency of energy utilization and decrease the energy consumption.Gas,steam and electric power are the primary secondary sources of gas and steam in steel plants,Therefore,it is significant both in theory and practice to study the optimal allocation and utilization of the main energy in this system for saving energy and reducing consumption. The structure of gas system and steam power system in iron and steel enterprises is analyzed.Based on this,Based on every device in the system,a multi-cycle mixed integer linear programming optimal scheduling model for gas steam power system is established(including boiler, steam turbine and cogeneration,etc.).Secondly,using the actual production data of the gas-steam power system of a steel plant, the optimal scheduling model of the economical gas and steam power system is validated. The results indicate that the comparison between pre-and post-optimized operating cost is made, the operation cost after optimization is 18.31%lower than that before optimization. This model provides the optimal strategy of energy distribution for the gas-steam power system of iron and steel enterprises and reduces the operation cost of enterprises. In addition, this thesis explores the influence of energy price changes on the optimization results. Finally,an optimal scheduling model of gas-steam power system based on economic and environmental objectives is proposed, which takes into account the high efficiency utilization of by-product gas and uses this model to optimize it.The results show that the introduction of environmental protection cost into the gas-steam power system will increase the operation cost of the whole system, but it can organically link the environmental protection and economic benefits together,so that the iron and steel enterprises can actively respond to the emission reduction policy and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. After considering the high efficiency utilization technology of by-product gas,the backward unit in the system is replaced by supercritical efficient unit, which reduces the economic operation cost and environmental protection cost of the system. This model can obtain the best operation scheme on the premise of taking into account both economic and environmental aspects, which can not only reduce the operation cost and energy consumption of the system, but also reduce environmental pollution.
