Pea is one of the main crops of Tibetan farmers and herdsmen,which is widely distributed.Pea is suitable for planting in alpine regions,and its short growth period is also one of its characteristics.Pea is one of the good sources of plant protein.At present,there are mainly dried peas,green peas and pod-eating peas in China.China’s pea industry is mainly concentrated in starch and vermicelli industry.There is little research on pea peptides,and the degree of deep processing of peas is low,which leads to the by-product of pea peptides not being effectively developed and utilized,so that pea resources cannot be used efficiently,because there is no better means to deal with these resources,and the development value is greatly limited.With the in-depth study of plant protein peptides in the food field,the biological functions of pea peptides have attracted the attention of scholars.A large number of studies have shown that pea protein hydrolysate peptides have biological activities such as antioxidation,anti-inflammation,lowering blood pressure and cholesterol,and regulating intestinal bacteria.Regular intake of pea protein-rich foods may have the potential to reduce the risk of some chronic diseases,which is conducive to improving human health and provides a good idea and direction for the field of dietotherapy.Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is a global burden.In the past few decades,the incidence and prevalence of IBD have increased rapidly around the world.At first,this phenomenon appeared in North America and Europe.In recent ten years,the number of patients found in China has also increased sharply.IBD has a great relationship with the body’s daily diet.If we don’t pay attention to IBD,it will pose a major threat to human health.In this study,pea active peptide was used to determine its improving effect on dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced colitis in mice.Eight-week-old BALB/c male mice were given the same amount(50 μL)of sterile water,0.067g/kg of sulfasalazine(SASP)and 0.5,2 or 4 g/kg of pea active peptide.2.5%DSS drinking water was treated for 7 days to induce colitis,and at the same time,medication was given to prevent it.On the ninth day of the experiment,the mice were killed after collecting blood samples,and the colon tissue and colon contents were collected.The BW curve,colon length,immune factor and tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)were measured.Acute colitis was successfully induced in mice by DSS(dextran sulfate sodium salt).Compared with the control group,the weight of mice decreased significantly(12.28%).The positive drugs(sulfasalazine)and pea peptides(low,medium and high doses)used in this experiment have obviously alleviated the weight loss caused by acute colitis,and there is no significant difference compared with the control group(P>0.05).In the determination of pea active peptide regulating the secretion of inflammatory cytokines induced by DSS and monocyte chemoattractant protein 1(MCP-1)and tumor necrosis factor α(TNFα),pea active peptide can significantly improve the concentrations of IL-6,IL-10 and IL-1B proteins in serum.To sum up,pea active peptide can alleviate DSS-induced colitis by reducing inflammatory cell infiltration and regulating immune factors.The following research aims to carry out pea experiments in mice.Anti-fatigue study of soybean active peptide.Through exhaustive swimming experiment,the contents of lactate dehydrogenase,glutathione peroxidase,lipid peroxide,malondialdehyde and liver glycogen in serum of mice were determined to determine the fatigue degree,the repair effect of fatigue damage and the effect of pea active peptide on the scavenging ability of peroxide in mice,and to explore the anti-fatigue effect of pea active peptide in vivo and its mechanism.Pea active peptide can alleviate the damage of oxidative free radicals in mice and accelerate the recovery of the body from post-exercise fatigue.This study provides theoretical basis and guidance for the application of pea active peptide in intervention and relieving colitis,and the application of pea active peptide in relieving fatigue and improving physical recovery.
