Application Of Wet Extension Art In Vegetable Tanned Leather Decoration

Wet extension art is an ancient art of painting on water,with unique characteristics,the ancient times for paper decoration,although the long history of wet extension,but it has not been very good heritage and development.With the improvement of people’s life quality and the enhancement of aesthetic demand,the choice of leather products has higher requirements in material,texture,color and pattern design.In this paper,the present situation of vegetable tanned leather is analyzed,and the feasibility of combining wet extension with vegetable tanned leather is discussed.The creation is a combination of traditional wet extension techniques and modern practical leather,which can provide new possibilities for the development of vegetable tanned leather on the basis of traditional culture.In the leather work "Imprint Flow",wet extension technology is applied to show the flow of water,which is embodied in the decorative design of leather products.
