P-xylene is one of the main products of C8aromatics isomerization,it is a very important industrial raw material.Based on industrial data and experimental data,kinetics of isomerization of C8aromatics were researched.Models of C8aromatics isomerization reactor were established.The main research progresses were as follows:A reactor model was developed to describe the reaction process of isomerization of C8aromatics by applying a six-component sequential reaction network.Based on industrial data,the simulated annealing algorithm was used to fit the reaction rate constants of the reaction network.By the model,the concentration distributions of all components could be obtained for reversible and irreversible reaction networks respectively,the results showed that the calculated values of the model fit the industrial data very well.By comparing the concentration distribution data of the two reaction networks,it was found that the reversible reaction network was closer to the real industrial process.Model of axial bed reactor for homogeneous plug flow was established.Based on experimental data,the simulated annealing algorithm was used to fit the reaction kinetic parameters.By the model,the concentration distributions of all components and reactor outlet component concentrations could be obtained.By comparing the outlet component concentrations of the calculated values and experimental data,it was found that the calculated values were closer to experimental data.Model of radial bed reactor for homogeneous backmixing was established.Based on industrial data and kinetic parameters from regression for experimental data,the simulated annealing algorithm was used to fit the backmixing coefficient.By comparing the outlet component concentrations of the homogeneous plug flow model and homogeneous backmixing model,it was found that the calculated values of homogeneous plug flow model were closer to industrial data.Model of radial bed reactor for two-phase was established.Internal diffusion of catalysts was considered,the main flow of material was combined with mass transfer in catalysts.Based on industrial data,the simulated annealing algorithm was used to fit the reaction rate constants.By the model,the concentration distributions of all components in the reactor and the catalysts could be obtained,it provided theoretical basis for the design and amplification of C8aromatics isomerization reactor.
