Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn is a deciduous arbor of the sapindus,mainly distributed in the south of the Yangtze River basin and other areas in China,whose oil rate of the kernel is up to 40%or more,which is one of the main species of the"integration of forest and oil"economic forestry industry model in China.Current research on Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil is mainly focused on extraction and bioactivity analysis,and its application in bioengineering needs to be strengthened.In order to better exploit Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil,a natural plant resource,this project investigates its refining process and determines the physicochemical parameters,phytosterols and tocopherols before and after refining,designs and optimizes make-up removing oil and lotion formulations with Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed refined oil,and characterizes and evaluates its basic properties.1.Refining process and physicochemical properties of Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil.A single-factor and orthogonal test was carried out to optimize the refining process conditions of Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil as raw material.Results showed that the optimum process conditions for degumming were70℃heating temperature,4.0%water addition and 35 min heating time;the optimum process conditions for deacidification were 70℃alkali refining temperature,0.25%super alkali and 35 min alkali refining time;the optimum process conditions for decolourisation were 7.0%active white clay,80°C decolourisation temperature and 30min decolourisation time.After refining,the oil acid value was 0.32±0.03 mg KOH/g,the peroxide value was 0.45±0.03 mmol/kg,the saponification value was 153.25±0.21mg/g and the iodine value was 86.16±0.12 g/100g;the unsaturated fatty acid content was 90.62%,with the highest oleic acid content of 53.52%±0.17%;the fatty acid content of refined Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil was 219.76 mg/100g and the content of total sterols was 219.76 mg/100g;the total tocopherol content was835.48±10.76 mg/kg.2.Preparation and performance study of Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil make-up remover oil.2 make-up remover oil formulations WHZ-1 and WHZ-2 with Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil as the base oil were prepared by optimizing the content of emulsifier,and their properties such as self-emulsification,stability,fluidity and viscosity were evaluated with the commercially available classic brand make-up remover oil A and the net-brand make-up remover oil B as the control.The best emulsification performance is achieved when the Sapindus oil emulsifier content is21%.Due to the high use of emulsifier B and the low content of natural vegetable oils,the surface constitutes an oil film with low strength,poor fluidity and long flow time.WHZ-1 Makeup Remover has a viscosity value of 37.3 Pa.s,WHZ-2 Makeup Remover has a viscosity value of 35.7 Pa.s,Makeup Remover B has a viscosity value of 17.6 Pa.s and Makeup Remover A has a viscosity value of 43.2 Pa.s.,so WHZ-1Makeup Remover is more suitable as a makeup remover.3.Preparation and performance study of Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil emulsions.Three skin care emulsion formulations RY-1,RY-2 and RY-3 were obtained by process optimization,and the emulsions prepared from the three formulations were evaluated for safety,antioxidant,moisturizing,tyrosinase inhibiting activity and UV resistance to investigate the functional properties of Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil skin care emulsions.The emulsions were prepared by high speed shearing.The optimized parameters were:8%mass fraction of emulsifier compound,6%mass fraction of co-emulsifier,2%saprophytic oil,emulsification temperature of 70°C and shear rate of 12000 r/min.A good linear growth relationship between the emulsion mass concentration and the antioxidant properties of the emulsions was observed in the in vitro antioxidant experiments of RY-1,RY-2 and RY-3.In the DPPH free radical scavenging test,the scavenging rates of the three skin lotions at a concentration of 80μg/m L were 67.6%,73.38%and 71.4%respectively.Due to the presence of phenols and other active substances in the lotion with certain free radical scavenging and reducing abilities,the EC50of ABTS+were58.3,50.1 and 53.5μg/m L respectively,indicating that the Sapindus mukorossi Gaertn seed oil skin lotion is of good antioxidant stability.
