Traditional wastewater treatment plants have a single process and cannot meet the needs of modern urban wastewater treatment.With the increasingly stringent national and local pollutant discharge standards,the quality and efficiency improvement of wastewater treatment plants around the world is on the agenda.In this context,this study proposes a retrofitting idea based on the concept of environmental stewardship.The so-called environmental stewardship concept is essentially the integration and consolidation of services.After a water plant puts forward its renovation needs and goals,companies that provide environmental butler services will provide one-stop renovation plans and follow-up services based on the water plant’s needs and the actual water plant.This concept is an emerging concept in the "Guidance on Actively Playing a Role in Environmental Protection to Promote Supply-Side Structural Reform" proposed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in 2016,which is in a new exploration stage and has great development potential.The original water plant adopts UASB + two-stage A/O process.However,the UASB operation effect is unstable,the residence time of the A/O pool is long and high COD of the effluent is high,which cannot achieve stable standard discharge.And the needs to be discharged by the downstream water plant secondary treatment to meet the standard,this cost is high.Therefore,based on the problems existing in the existing process,this paper mainly starts from the analysis of the operation effect of UASB,the quality and efficiency improvement of sludge adsorption process,and the research on advanced treatment of electrochemical process,and puts forward transformation ideas through field experimental data from the multi-dimensional comprehensive analysis of treatment efficiency,transformation foundation,economic input,etc.In the biochemical section of the transformation,UASB operation effect,UASB operation stability mainly depends on the influent sulfate concentration,so it should strictly control its concentration to prevent high sulfate concentration to inhibit the anaerobic nitrification process.It is verified that shielding the influent sulfate and sulfide,the COD removal effect is 30.8%,which is improved by 9.83%.And the residence time can be shortened from 45~59 h to 24 h in the original water plant,and the shortening did not reduce the treatment effect.Two-stage A/O process transformation,two-stage A/O can be changed to sludge adsorption tank + one A/O,the COD removal rate can reach 81.7% after transformation,the removal effect is 16.21% higher than when not transformed,and does not affect the denitrification effect.The current two-stage A/O process most of the pollutants occur in the first stage of removal,with the basis for transformation.Electrochemical process on the depth of treatment of water plant effluent,through comparison,the choice of electric flocculation process as a transformation process depth treatment of biochemical section of the effluent.The p H of 6 and the current density of 35 m A/cm2 were found to be good operating conditions for the electroflocculation process.Under this operation condition,the COD removal rate can reach 63.09% and 59.32% in the small and pilot tests respectively,and the effluent COD concentration can be reduced to the stable discharge standard.After UASB efficiency improvement,sludge adsorption + A/O process transformation and the advanced treatment of biochemical effluent by electroflocculation process,COD and ammonia nitrogen in the effluent of the water plant can be discharged steadily and to the standard. |
