As science and technology advance quickly,the updating and iteration speed of CNC machine tool industry is gradually accelerated,and the difference between product function and technical level is getting smaller and smaller,while the relative modeling difference gradually becomes the key factor affecting user experience,satisfaction,purchase decision,etc.At the same time,the quality of product shape design has an important impact on users’ access to perceptual cognitive information,especially for new users.For example,in the practice and learning of engineering technology,the unfriendly shape of CNC machine tools directly affects the perceptual experience of beginners,which makes them afraid of machine tools and leads to a lack of willingness to use them.In order to build a design method of NC machine tool product modeling image to meet users’ perceptual needs,this topic aims to explore the correlation between users’ perception and NC machine tool product modeling by using Kansei engineering theory and following the principle of visual perception,and realize the optimization design of NC machine tool product modeling under the target image.Firstly,by clarifying the visual perception characteristics and perceptual cognition level of users,three levels of perception of NC machine tool products were proposed: modeling beauty,human-computer interaction,and user experience.Combined with cognitive mode,users’ perceptual cognition model of NC machine tool products was constructed to accurately grasp users’ image cognitive thinking of NC machine tool products.Secondly,based on Kansei engineering theory,using user behavior orientation,form analysis,orthogonal design,hierarchy analysis and other methods to establish CNC machine tool product modeling sample set and perceptual image word collection.Thirdly,with college students as subjects,the visual perceptual cognition experiment was designed and implemented by using eye movement tracking technology combined with semantic difference scale,and the physiological eye movement data under the perceptual evaluation scores and perceptual results of the subjects were recorded,so as to complete the evaluation research on the impact of product modeling on users’ perceptual image driven by eye movement data.Finally,the experimental data were analyzed to explore the correlation and matching between the features of the product modeling elements of CNC machine tools and the user’s perceptual image,and the design strategy was deduced according to the feature score.According to this,the product design practice of CNC machine tools was carried out and the perceptual image matching was evaluated and verified.The evaluation results show that the numerical control machine tool product modeling design and function model construction are effective.The research results of this subject provide the process and method of perceptual image design for NC machine tool product modeling,the user’s perceptual cognition model of NC machine tool product modeling under multi-factor coupling,and provide an in-depth analysis of users’ perceptual cognition of NC machine tool product modeling at the objective physiological level.The proposed design strategy has guiding significance for NC machine tool product modeling design.
