Shaft parts are common mechanical parts,and are often used as key transmission components in various mechanical structures.Since the shaft parts are like bodies of revolution,their aspect ratio is large.The existing rotary shaft parts measurement method needs to perform complex pose adjustment before measuring it,and the initial pose of the Shaft to be tested affects the measurement accuracy.In addition,due to its complex surface profile,360-degree full profile measurement is required.During measurement,it will face the problem that a single measurement cannot fully obtain the full profile of the DUT,which makes it difficult to plan the measurement path in the point measurement method.While using the surface measurement method requires multiple splices,resulting in low measurement accuracy.The measurement process requires manual planning of the path,which is difficult to improve the measurement efficiency,and cannot be used for large-scale inspection in the industry.In order to achieve rapid measurement of shaft parts and meet the needs of batch inspection in industrial production lines.In this paper,a composite measurement method based on multi-line structured light sensors is proposed.The problem of the influence of the position and orientation of the DUT on the measurement accuracy are solved through the system design.This topic solves the problem of large error of point cloud splicing in multi-sensor system through calibration,and realizes the full-contour 3D rapid measurement of shaft parts.Based on this composite measurement method,this paper mainly studies the measurement system design,system calibration,and measurement result analysis,and carries out the following research work:(1)On the basis of fully investigating the existing 3D topography measurement technology,a composite measurement method based on multi-line structured light sensor is proposed for the characteristics of the full profile measurement of shaft parts.That measurement can meet the requirement of full profile 3D measurement and quick measurement.(2)A ring measurement system based on multi-line structured light sensor is built,and a multi-sensor coordinate system-calibration method with loop closure constraint is proposed.Compared with the traditional calibration method,the proposed method realizes the optimization of nonlinear error and effectively reduces the problem of layering of point clouds measured by adjacent sensors.(3)The experiment verified the measurement accuracy of the single sensor and the whole system,proved the effectiveness of the proposed loopback calibration method.The actual measurement of the full contour of the camshaft parts was carried out.The measurement system realizes the evaluation of the surface error,shaft diameter and coaxiality of shaft parts.
