Pass Design And Finite Element Analysis Of Periodic Cold Pipe Rolling Machine

With the continuous development of our country,the steady improvement of the economic level,all walks of life for superior quality,outstanding performance of cold-rolled steel pipe demand is increasing,as an important tool for the production of cold-rolled pipe,the production efficiency of the periodic cold rolling machine and the quality of finished pipe are concerned.As the most important deformation tool of periodic cold rolling pipe,the reasonable design of pass is directly related to the quality of finished pipe.The diameter of the pass section decreases gradually on the roll arc.In the design process,the calculation formula is complex and time consuming.In the past,the pass designed by relying on the experience of the designer is not only time consuming,but also low accuracy of the pass,which can not meet the current needs.With the appearance of computer aided pass design technology,a new solution is provided for the pass design of periodic cold rolling mill.The pass design using computer aided pass design system(CARD)is not only short in time and high in precision,but also can free the process designer from the complicated calculation work.It makes the pass design of periodic cold pipe rolling machine intelligent,scientific and standardized.In this paper,the author based on VB.NET language,Solidworks three-dimensional design software for secondary development,and write the pass design software,after the user input initial parameters,the pass design software can automatically generate in the process of the pass modeling required in each section parameters,and generate the model in Solidworks;The finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate the pass designed by the software,verify the rationality and reliability of the pass design software,analyze the deformation of the billet in periodic rolling,and analyze the influence of feeding amount and rolling speed on the result of periodic rolling.
