In the processing of thin-walled flanges with different sizes and specifications.It is often necessary to replace the corresponding size of the fixture,resulting in higher fixture customization costs and affecting production efficiency.Therefore,according to the requirements of enterprises,this paper designs a flexible fixture to adapt to the clamping of thin-walled flanges with a certain outer diameter range.In this paper,6061 aluminum alloy thin-walled flange is taken as the research object.By decomposing the clamping action and synthesizing the mechanism type,a reasonable flexible fixture mechanism scheme is determined.The specific work of this paper is as follows:(1)The fixture configuration design and structural design were carried out.Based on the mechanism synthesis method,the clamping action of thin-walled flange was decomposed,Aiming at the radial centering and axial pressing action of thin-walled flange,and the corresponding mechanism schemes were proposed respectively,and the motion trajectory was analyzed.Finally,the sub-motion mechanism were combined,and an overall mechanism scheme of flexible fixture for thin-walled flange parts is proposed,and the there dimensional structure of the fixture was designed.(2)The clamping force,working torque and the quality of the balance block were analyzed.The finite element method was used to analyze the clamping force of the clamping claw during the machining process of the thin-walled flange and the maximum friction force that the clamping claw can provide.Based on the force balance method,the maximum torque that the fixture can provide was calculated.Through the rigid-flexible coupling simulation analysis of the fixture,the balance effect between the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the radial rod and the centrifugal force generated by the balance block was analyzed,and the mass and material of the balance block were determined according to the simulation results.(3)The modal analysis and harmonic response analysis of the fixture were carried out.The natural frequency and vibration form of the fixture were calculated by modal analysis to determine the rationality of the fixture structure.Based on the natural frequency obtained by modal analysis,the influence of external excitation on the machining accuracy of flange parts was further studied by harmonic response analysis.(4)Complete the fixture performance test.The fixture experimental platform was built,and the radial runout and end runout of the fixture and the clamping force of the clamping claw were measured.
