With the rapid development of industry,the production of metal plate belt has developed to the direction of high strength,low thickness and high precision.Multi-high mill is widely used because of its small diameter and high stiffness.Eighteen high roll mill is an important cold rolling mill for high strength steel strip,but the side support of all kinds of eighteen high roll mills has the problems of bloated structure and complicated control.Based on this background,a new structure of ten-high mill is proposed by introducing horizontal stand on the basis of eighteen high roll mill,and its shape control ability and horizontal stand are studied.Based on the structure and working principle of the new 10-high mill,the paper uses Abaqus for 3D finite element modeling,and carries out the simulation calculation of the rolling process by elastoplastic finite element method.The transverse stiffness and longitudinal stiffness of the rolling mill are fully studied by adjusting the back-up roll down,the bending force of the middle roll and the transverse displacement of the middle roll,and the stiffness characteristic curves of the new 10-high rolling mill are obtained,which provide a reference for the control of the shape and thickness of the rolling mill.Based on the analysis of the influences of the bending force of the intermediate roll and the adjustment of the transverse movement of the intermediate roll on the exit plate crown of the strip,the transverse flow of the metal,the edge thinning,the bending of the roll system and the flattening of the roll,the shape control ability of the new 10-high rolling mill is verified by the shape conditions under different shape adjustment means.The finite element calculation was carried out for the horizontal stand introduced into the new 10-high rolling mill,in which the side support adopted the subsection support scheme,and the influence of the horizontal component of rolling force on the deformation of the horizontal stand was studied.The influences of different rolling forces on the flexion between work roll and side support,contact deformation and contact stress between work roll and outer ring of backing bearing were analyzed,and the influences of circular outer ring backing bearing and flat outer ring backing bearing on contact were compared.Based on the above study of the influence of the segmented side support on the work roll,it is demonstrated that the introduction of the horizontal frame can provide sufficient support while minimizing the influence on the work roll.The research results of this paper provide a new idea for the improvement of the side support of 18-high rolling mill,have a certain guiding significance for the research of stiffness and shape control ability of multi-high rolling mill,and lay a theoretical foundation for the popularization and application of new 10-high rolling mill. |
