China’s automobile industry is the pillar industry of China’s economy,which embodies China’s industrialization level,economic strength and scientific and technological innovation ability.The automobile manufacturing industry is inseparable from the stamping forming process,the vast majority of parts on a car are produced by the stamping forming process,In the product processing before the use of finite element software for stamping parts numerical simulation,simulation of forming process and prediction of possible quality defects,can reduce the cost of human and material resources and shorten the production cycle,so the paper around the stamping forming numerical simulation to launch.In this paper,the theoretical part of numerical simulation is expounded,including finite element solution algorithm,boundary treatment method,yield criterion,meshing technology,etc.,and the analysis process of numerical simulation software and the meaning of forming limit diagram are introduced.After comprehensive analysis,it is determined to use Autoform R7.0 software to simulate the whole process of stamping and forming of the reinforcement plate on the rear column of an automobile.From the beginning to the end,this paper carries out research from the following points:First of all,according to the shape characteristics of the reinforcing plate on the back column,the stamping process is determined.The Autoform software is used to add the single action draw,edge cutting and trimming and punching processes.The drawing process needs to determine the stamping direction of the workpiece to ensure that no negative Angle can be generated.Combining with the boundary of stamping parts to design reasonable process supplement to simplify the molding difficulty,and design the horizontal binder and blank shape,complete the die,binder and punch workers specific Settings,the establishment of finite element analysis model.The numerical simulation of the stiffening plate on the rear column was carried out,and the results of the initial simulation were analyzed.It was found that there were some quality defects,such as wrinkling and insufficient drawing,in order to avoid the defects,a reasonable drawing bead should be designed according to the structure and shape characteristics of the stiffening plate to control the reasonable distribution and flow of the sheet material.Then,the influences of material type,binder force and draw bead arrangement on the forming results are discussed by analyzing the numerical simulation results.Finally,the orthogonal experimental method was introduced.Nine orthogonal experimental schemes were designed with the binder force,the drawbead coefficient and the coefficient of friction as the main technological parameters,and the optimum molding parameters were determined with the molding effect and the maximum thinning rate as the main indexes.Based on Autoform software,free springback process was added to simulate the springback after drawing process,edge trimming process and edge trimming and punching process.According to the analysis results,it is found that the springback of the part boundary is larger after the end of the trimming process.According to the springback calculation results of the workpiece for springback compensation,displacement compensation method based on geometric nodes effectively reduce the impact of springback on the stamping quality,the final production of products in line with the quality requirements of stamping parts.Based on the finite element software to the column reinforcing plate forming process numerical simulation work,predict possible defects before production,reduces the artificial test brought about by the cost of production,show the advantage of finite element analysis of sheet metal forming technology in the field of stamping,get the stamping simulation data for the column reinforcing plate on the design and production has a certain reference value.
