China’s space industry highlights the innovative and pioneering spirit of the Chinese people.China’s aerospace industry has nurtured Chinese aerospace culture and carried forward the excellent culture of the Chinese nation,and is one of the important elements in the development of China’s cultural and creative industries.The series of elements and symbols of Chinese aerospace technology have gradually become popular in social culture and have become the focus of attention of designers and consumers in various industries.Through an in-depth exploration of "Chinese aerospace" cultural symbols,this paper summarizes the connotation and external characteristics of aerospace culture and symbols on the basis of sorting out the development of aerospace cultural symbols.Through the study of relevant outstanding cases of apparel design,the visual application characteristics of cultural symbols are explored,and the innovative mechanism of the integration of "practical function,aesthetic function and technological elements" is found,and through practical exploration,it is verified that the "study on the application of Chinese aerospace cultural symbols in down jacket design " Through practical exploration,it was verified that the study on the application of Chinese aerospace cultural symbols in down jacket has certain social value.This paper selects three themes of characteristic symbols in the down jacket for design experiments,verifying the cleverly associated properties of symbol connotation and down jacket style;discovering the interdependence of visual expression effect and clothing fabric;proving that technological development and innovation provide the impetus for the integration of clothing design.Space is the symbol of national strength,and space symbol is the comprehensive embodiment of cultural soft power.At present,there are few theoretical and practical research results of aerospace culture in the field of clothing design,so it is necessary to carry out microscopic and interdisciplinary research in the field of down jacket design.The down jacket fabric preparation,technology content,design aesthetics,consumer demand and other comprehensive consideration is the basis for creating a down jacket design that meets functional needs,satisfies aesthetic needs,and has cultural communication value.Series of clothing design results carry the social mission of cultural self-awareness and cultural confidence.
