The purpose of the study was to solve the problem of soil hardening faced by the cultivation of Dendranthema morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’in Hunan and the waste of tea residue resources of Hunan dark tea, this study used dark tea residue organic fertilizer, commercial ordinary organic fertilizer and cake-shaped rape seed dregs organic fertilizer mixed with yellow soil in different proportions as the substrate for the cultivation of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’,and used the cultivation of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’in yellow soil as the control to analyze the physical and chemical properties of seven cultivation substrates,Observe the morphological characteristics, photosynthetic characteristics and flowering characteristics of the growth and development of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’,detected the functional components of the flowers, comprehensively analyzed the feasibility of applying dark tea waste to the cultivation of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’in Hunan, and determined the appropriate proportion of black tea residue organic fertilizer. The comprehensive results show that adding dark tea residue organic fertilizer to yellow soil could effectively improve the physical and chemical properties of soil,be conducive to the photosynthesis of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’,promoted the growth and development of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’,and alleviated the harm of hot stress in summer and autumn in Hunan to chrysanthemum.Increasing the amount of dark tea residue organic fertilizer to 4.5kg/m~2could greatly improve the economic benefits and ornamental value of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’.The reuse of dark tea residue waste can alleviate the waste treatment pressure of instant dark tea production, and is of great significance to promote the development of D.morifolium‘Jinsi Huang’planting industry and realize ecological and environmental protection in Hunan.
