Hyperlipidemia is a chronic disease caused by abnormal lipid metabolism, which is related to the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases, with the change of people’s lifestyle and eating habits, the incidence rate of hyperlipidemia is increasing year by year, and the age of onset is younger.Research shows that gut microbiota plays an important role in the development of hyperlipidemia. Therefore, this study recruited a total of 56 patients with hyperlipidemia and randomly divided them into a probiotic group(29)and a placebo group(27)to explore the impact of probiotic compound Probio-X on hyperlipidemia patients(3×1010CFU/g,Composed of Lacticaseibacillus casei Zhang,Bifidobacterium animalis subsp.lactis V9,Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P8,Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus Probio-M9,Bifidobacterium lactis Probio-M8).The intervention period was 90 days.At 0 days and 90 days, the patient’s blood routine, blood lipids, and bone density were measured, and relevant questionnaires were conducted. The main results are as follows:(1)Compared with the placebo group, the total cholesterol level in the serum of patients in the probiotic group significantly decreased from 6.20±1.23 mmol/L to 5.51±0.97 mmol/L(P<0.05),the level of low density lipoprotein-cholesterol significantly decreased from 4.28±1.09 mmol/L to 3.84±1.21 mmol/L(P<0.05),the level of high density lipoprotein-cholesterol in serum of patients with hyperlipidemia significantly increased from 1.30±0.29 mmol/L to 1.31±0.48 mmol/L(P<0.05).while there was no significant change in the placebo group. At the same time, under the intervention of compound probiotics.Indicating that probiotics can effectively improve blood lipid levels in patients with hyperlipidemia.(2)During the experiment, the bone density of patients in the placebo group significantly decreased from 1520.91±9.84 m/s to 1512.65±10.36 m/s(P<0.05).The probiotic group also showed a decreasing trend, but there was no significant change.Indicating that composite probiotics can effectively prevent the decrease of bone density in patients with hyperlipidemia, thereby reducing the risk of osteoporosis.(3)Diamine oxidase,D-lactic acid, and endotoxin are important indicators for evaluating intestinal barrier damage. After 3 months of intervention, the levels of diamine oxidase(5.20±0.89 u/L),D-lactic acid(15.15±1.42 mol/L),and endotoxin(12.29±1.41 Eu/m L)in the probiotic group were significantly lower than those in the placebo group(5.81±1.19 u/L),D-lactic acid(16.17±1.75 mol/L),and endotoxin(13.37±2.14Eu/m L)(P<0.05).This indicates that composite probiotics can effectively protect the intestinal barrier in patients with hyperlipidemia.(4)Compared to the baseline period,in patients with improved levels of total-cholesterol,low density lipoprotein-cholesterol and high density lipoprotein-cholesterol,the content of total-cholesterol and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol in the serum of patients with increased daily vegetable intake and exercise time decreased, while the content of high density lipoprotein-cholesterol increased,it is worth noting that this difference is more significant in the probiotic group(P<0.05).Indicating that increasing vegetable intake and appropriate exercise combined with probiotic intervention are more conducive to improving blood lipids.(5)After 3 months of intervention, there was no significant change in the diversity and structure of gut microbiota in the probiotic and placebo groups. However,a total of22 different species were found in the two groups, including Bacteroides uniformis,Porphyromonas,Coprobacterius,Coprobacterius cateniformis,Anaerostipes and Lachnococcus Plantarum in feces, among others. At the same time, the use of probiotics can significantly increase the relative abundance of beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacterium animalis,Lactiplantibacillus plantarum,Bacteroides uniformis and Coprobacillus in the intestines of hyperlipidemic patients(P<0.05).(6)Blood metabolomics results showed that composite probiotics significantly increased the levels of acetyl-carnitine and free carnitine in patients with hyperlipidemia, which are related to lipid metabolism pathways(P<0.05).Therefore,composite probiotics can regulate the levels of related metabolites in the blood, thereby affecting lipid metabolism in the body and ultimately improving the clinical symptoms of hyperlipidemia. In summary, the composite probiotics Probio-X can alleviate symptoms related to hyperlipidemia by regulating the structure of gut microbiota and lipid metabolism. This study provides a new direction for the treatment of hyperlipidemia. |
