| Chinese annual walnut industry produced a large number of abandoned hulls,which caused serious damage and pollution to the local ecological environment.It is not conducive to the sustainable development of walnut industry.Composting is the main way to treat hickory hulls.The further processing of compost by adding functional strains and substances can further increase the comercial value and product effectiveness of the organic fertilizer.The survival time of functional microorganisms in bio-organic fertilizer is the key to determine the quality of bio-organic fertilizer.In this study,the formula and manufacturing process of bio-organic fertilizer production using hickory hull compost were studied by setting different water content gradients,amino acid addition gradients,functional bacterial formulations and packaging methods of hickory hull compost.In the last,the growth promotion effect of the novel bio-organic fertilizer on cucumber was evaluated through greenhouse pot.The main results were as follows:1.Single factor experiment was carried out to explore the effects of compost moisture,amino acid addition,functional bacteria dosage form and packaging method on the shelf life of hickory hull bio-organic fertilizer.The optimum moisture content of hickory hull compost was 30%.When the concentration of acidolysis amino acid solution was 20%(v/w),the p H value of compost was better stabilized.Inoculation of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens powder(initial bacterial count≥2.0×108 CFU g-1)and conventional packaging in hickory hull compost was more conducive to extending the shelf life of hickory hull bio-organic fertilizer.The results also showed that with the extension of the storage time of biological fertilizer,the spore number of functional bacteria in the fertilizer gradually decreased,and tended to be stable at the third month of storage.At the sixth month,the spore number in the fertilizer was 7.8×107CFU g-1,significantly higher than the industry standard(implementation standard:NY884-2012,effective viable count≥2.0×107 CFU g-1).2.The optimal formula and process were selected to prepare the bio-organic fertilizer of hickory hull and the greenhouse pot experiment was conducted to explore the growth promotion effect of the new bio-organic fertilizer on cucumber.In the pot experiment,seven treatments were set up,namely,the treatment without fertilization,the treatment with hickory hull compost,the treatment with bio-organic fertilizer made by adding functional bacteria into hickory hull compost,the treatment with bio-organic fertilizer made by adding functional bacteria into hickory hull compost and acidolysis amino acid solution.The results showed that the application of bio-organic fertilizer with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens functional powder and 20%(v/w)acidolysis amino acid solution in soil had the most obvious growth promoting effect on cucumber,and the biomass indexes of cucumber plants were significantly improved.Compared with the control treatment,the plant height,stem diameter,leaf area,aboveground fresh weight and dry weight of bio-organic fertilizer increased by 3.56 times,27%,146%,4.91 times and 4.07 times,respectively.The fertilizer effect was significant.Adding amino acids and functional strains of bio-organic fertilizer into soil had an important impact on soil physical and chemical properties.Compared with CK treatment,soil p H was adjusted,soil nutrient content was improved,and soil fertility was effectively improved.The results showed that the application of bio-organic fertilizer containing functional bacteria significantly increased the number of bacteria and Bacillus,and strengthened the ability of functional bacteria to colonize in soil and promote crop growth.Soil culturable microorganisms(bacteria,fungi,actinomycetes,Bacillus)were significantly correlated with plant height,stem diameter,leaf area,fresh and dry weight of aboveground parts of crops.In summary,in this study,the formula and process for the production of bio-organic fertilizer by hickory hull compost were developed by evaluating the effect of compost moisture content,amino acid addition,functional bacteria dosage form and packaging method on shelf period.The optimal process was as follows:the compost moisture content of hickory hull was 25%,the acidolysis amino acid addition concentration was 20%(v/w),and the functional microorganisms were Bacillus amyloliquefaciens powder.The bio-organic fertilizer prepared by the above formula is more conducive to extending the fertilizer shelf life,and can effectively promote the growth of cucumber.The plant height,leaf area and other indicators are significantly increased,and the soil nutrient content is effectively improved.The number of culturable bacteria and Bacillus in the soil is significantly increased,which provides data and theoretical support for the high-value resource utilization of hickory hull bio-organic fertilizer. |
