Hydropower development plays an extremely important role in flood control,irrigation,and water supply.However,with the increasing intensity and scope of the impact of hydropower development on rivers,the river ecosystem and its functions are affected to varying degrees.In order to quantitatively evaluate the impact of hydropower development on river ecosystems,use the gross river ecosystem product as a measurement indicator and construct an accounting system for the gross river ecosystem product,selecting the Lancang River with hydropower development and the Nu River without hydropower development as the study areas.The gross river ecosystem product of the Lancang River and the Nujiang River was calculated,and the impact of hydropower development on the gross river ecosystem product was quantified.The main conclusions are as follows :(1)Based on the characteristics and service functions of the river ecosystem,the gross river ecosystem product accounting system is constructed,and 12 accounting indexes of three categories of material products,regulation services,and cultural services are screened.The functional value accounting indexes of material products include water supply,hydropower energy,shipping,and aquatic products.The accounting indicators of regulating service function value include river sediment transport,flood storage,water purification,habitat diversity,climate regulation,and carbon sequestration.The cultural service function value accounting indicators include landscape entertainment and scientific research education.(2)According to the degree of hydropower development,the gross product of Lancang River ecosystem in different periods was calculated.In 2016,the Lancang River was in a partial development stage,and the gross river ecosystem product was 845.05 billion yuan.In 2021,the hydropower development degree of the Lancang River increased,and the gross river ecosystem product increased to 1264.22 billion yuan.The gross river ecosystem product of Lancang River in different periods is shown as regulation service value > material product value > cultural service value.After eliminating the influence of price by using a constant price,the value of material products in Lancang River increased by 36.18 %,the value of regulating services increased by4.13 %,and the value of cultural services increased by 1.80 % in 2021 compared with2016.(3)The gross river ecosystem product of the Nujiang River without hydropower development was 282.08 billion yuan in 2016 and 394.24 billion yuan in 2021.After eliminating the influence of price,it is found that the gross river ecosystem product of Nujiang River has changed little,but the composition proportion of service function categories in different years has changed slightly.In 2016,the value of Nujiang River regulation service > cultural service value > material product value.In 2021,the value of Nujiang River regulation service > material product value > cultural service value.Compared with 2016,the proportion of Nujiang River material product value increased slightly by 1.78 %,the proportion of regulation service value decreased by 1.59 %,and the proportion of cultural service value remained basically unchanged.(4)Compared with rivers with hydropower development and rivers without hydropower development,the value of regulation services always occupies the main position of the gross river ecosystem product.Under the condition of river hydropower development,the value of service functions such as hydropower energy and flood storage increased,and the value of river sediment transport,habitat diversity and carbon sequestration service functions decreased.The positive effect of hydropower development on the gross value of river ecosystem is greater than the negative effect,which is helpful to promote the realization of the value of ecological products.The economic-ecological coordination analysis model is constructed.The analysis results show that the overall development trend of river economic-ecological coordination under hydropower development is good.This study scientifically evaluates the impact of hydropower development on the gross river ecosystem product,provides a reference for promoting the coordinated development of hydropower energy development and ecological protection,and helps to promote high-quality economic and social development and ecological civilization construction.
