Titanium alloy as a special metal material,in the middle of the last century in China is widely used in aerospace,navigation,medical equipment,sports equipment,has a very strong resistance to pressure and corrosion resistance,high melting point characteristics is also a major feature of titanium alloy,EDM plus narrow slit and deep hole processing in the role of particularly significant.With the continuous development of modern processing,titanium alloy cutting limitations to be improved,the specific strength of titanium alloy high melting point,corrosion resistance is worth further refinement of the characteristics of the study,so this paper uses EDM wire cutting processing method for TC4 titanium alloy for angular cutting,through orthogonal tests and ANSYS simulation to explore the impact of processing parameters on the cutting speed and defects,mainly from the following research The study was carried out in the following aspects:(1)The main factors affecting the cutting speed of titanium alloy material and analyze the order of influence through the orthogonal test of extreme difference analysis,the order of influence is pulse width,channel,tracking,wire speed,the optimization results pulse width of 32 μs,tracking value of 2,channel of 7,wire speed of 50m/min,the material cutting speed is the fastest;through the extreme difference analysis method The optimization result is 9 μspulse width,4 tracking values,5 channels,and the smallest corner defect area at 50m/min;the degree of influence of the factors affecting the material cutting speed is obtained by ANOVA,and the degree of significant influence is in the following order: pulse width The significance of the factors that affect the material cutting speed is derived by ANOVA,and the magnitude of the significance of the factors that affect the area of angular defects is:channel,pulse width,tracking,and filament speed in order;the two most important factors that affect the material cutting speed and angular defects are pulse width and channel by ANOVA.(2)The temperature field simulation is performed by ANSYS simulation analysis for different parameters of pulse width and channel.The simulation results show that as the parameters of pulse width and channel increase,the size of etched crater radius and depth direction keeps increasing.As the pulse width value increases,the size of the crater is slightly larger than when the channel parameters are varied;and as the channel value increases,the transient temperature of the wire cut is substantially higher than when the pulse width parameters are varied,so the channel has the greatest influence in the analysis of the prismatic defect area.(3)When the analysis of scanning electron microscopy observation at the cutting prism,with the increase of pulse width,the size of the recondensed sphere of the thrown material at the prism gradually increases,and it is the smallest when the pulse width parameter is 9 μs;with the increase of the channel value,the size of the recondensed sphere of the thrown material(except when the channel is 5)also gradually increases,and it is the smallest when the channel value is 5.In this scanning electron microscopy analysis,the analysis results Consistent with the results of the polarization analysis,the prismatic defect area is smallest at a pulse width parameter of 9 μs and a channel value of 5.Figure [74] Table [12] References [74]...
