| With the increasing intensity of human activities’interference with the water environment,the environmental quality of water resources has been seriously affected.The degree of water pollution is increasing,and the number of clean water sources available for human consumption is continuously decreasing.Especially in concentrated areas of coal mining,the deep groundwater environment has been damaged,and the groundwater environment has undergone complex evolution,posing a potential threat to the safety of coal mining enterprises and the development and utilization of groundwater resources.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the hydrochemical characteristics and evolution rules of groundwater under the influence of mining,and evaluate the environmental quality of groundwater.This paper selects Hengyuan Coal Mine in Huaibei Coalfield as the research area,conducts regular sampling and testing of groundwater in the limestone aquifer of the Carboniferous Taiyuan Group,analyzes the hydrogeochemical characteristics in groundwater,evaluates the quality of the limestone water environment in the Taiyuan Group,and discusses the laws of hydrochemical evolution,providing a scientific basis for coal mine safety production and ensuring water safety.The main results achieved are as follows:(1)Based on the test data analysis of conventional ions in limestone water of Taiyuan Formation,the hydrochemical characteristics and evolution rules of Taiyuan limestone water is clarified based on the methods of ion combination ratio,correlation analysis,and principal component analysis,and the source analysis of the main components of groundwater is carried out.(2)The linear equation of hydrogen and oxygen isotope of limestone water of Taiyuan Formation(δD=2.41δ18O-42.85)was obtained by analyzing the data of hydrogen and oxygen isotope test of groundwater of multiple aquifers in the study area,and then the recharge source of Taihui groundwater was determined.(3)Based on the analysis of trace element abundance in limestone water of Taiyuan Formation,it is found that the order of enrichment rates of trace elements controlled by p H is Fe>Mn>Al>Zn>Ni>Pb>Cr>Cd>As.Using correlation analysis,principal component analysis,and other methods to analyze the source of common trace elements(i.e.,heavy metals)in Taihui water,the results show that these nine trace elements mainly come from the weathering and hydrolysis of primary minerals and oil leakage during coal mining.(4)According to the heavy metal pollution index method,the metal element pollution degree of Taihui water was analyzed,and the results showed that the trace element pollution degree of Taihui water was at a low pollution level.The results of health risk assessment indicate that the harmful effects of carcinogenic trace elements Cr,Cd,and As on human health exceed the maximum acceptable level 1×10-6 in drinking water.The harmful effects of non-carcinogenic trace elements Al,Mn,Fe,Ni,Zn,and Pb on human health are less than 1×10-8,and their impact on human health is negligible.(5)According to actual use,groundwater quality evaluation and boiler water quality evaluation were conducted for the limestone water of Taiyuan Formation in the research area.The groundwater quality evaluation results show that the proportion of Class V water in Taihui water is relatively high,and the poor water quality is mainly related to regional geological factors.The evaluation results of boiler water quality indicate that the water quality types of Taihui water are hard scaling water,bubbling water,and corrosive water,and softening treatment is required before use.Figure[21]Table[14]Reference[97]... |
