Harmonic /RV precision reducer transmission device because of its large transmission ratio,small volume,high transmission accuracy,widely used in industrial robots,aerospace,electromechanical transmission and other fields.However,with the rapid development of precision gear reducer field,the traditional gear hobbing and gear shaper machining technology has been difficult to meet the high efficiency and high precision machining requirements of internal gear on precision gear reducer.In recent years,the emerging power skiving technology,with its high efficiency,high precision,green dry cutting and other significant advantages,is gradually becoming the preferred process for machining internal gear of precision reducer.Aiming at the demand of high efficiency and high precision machining of circular inner gear on RV reducer,a design method of power skiving tool for circular inner gear of RV reducer with two degrees of freedom and no theoretical error was proposed in this paper.The main contents are as follows:(1)The mathematical model of inner circular arc gear power skiving tool based on line-surface conjugate theory is established.Based on the meshing principle of space staggered axis,the theory of space coordinate transformation,relative motion velocity,normal vector and gradually opening helical surface related to power skiving was expounded.By analyzing the developing motion relationship between gear tool and workpiece,the meshing equation was derived,and the conjugate tool surface of inner circular gear was obtained.(2)The design and manufacturing method of RV reducer inner circular arc gear power skiving tool was studied.According to the design method of gear shaper tool,the geometric model of power skiving tool of circular inner gear was established,and the front Angle,back Angle,front tool face and back tool face were designed respectively.Taking the circular inner gear machining of RV reducer as an example,the design and grinding method of circular power skiving tool without theoretical edge error is put forward,which lays a foundation for the manufacture of circular gear power skiving tool.(3)A special software of power skiving is developed for the design of RV gear teeth.The software is based on the conjugate meshing theory between the tool and the tooth surface.The design accuracy of the tool shape is higher,and it has the functions of gear parameter input,tool parameter input,tool shape calculation,envelope accuracy analysis,database management,etc.Through a small amount of parameter input,the parametric design of the tool shape can be quickly realized,reducing the workload of the designer.(4)Finally,the correctness of the design and manufacturing method of RV reducer internal circular arc gear power skiving tool is verified by tooth simulation machining and tool cutting experiments.The research content of this paper can provide a theoretical basis for gear machining of circular inner gear on RV reducer.The new circular gear power skiving tool is expected to have a good engineering application prospect.
