The chemical composition of the main flue gas in the process of smoking and burning produces a comprehensive perception of human senses,while the chemical composition and sensory quality of the main flue gas produced in the process of smoking are very different in different places and tobacco leaves.Therefore,this study conducted professional evaluation of four tobacco raw materials from different origin and different leaf parts.The composition and sensory difference of the main flue gas products in pyrolysis and cigarette combustion experiments were statistically analyzed and the experimental results were compared.Then,through the exploration of the sensory contribution of mainstream cigarette smoke and the difference statistics of the types and quantities of sensory compounds,the difference of the smoking sensory quality of tobacco from different places and tobacco leaves was clarified.The research measures for the classification and extension of tobacco origin and parts were put forward so as to provide theoretical guidance for tobacco formulation and processing.After specific experiments and statistical analysis,the following conclusions are finally obtained:First of all,professional tobacco evaluators evaluated and smoked tobacco of different parts and origin.Statistical analysis found that the upper tobacco had better aroma,stronger sweetness and vigor than the middle tobacco,but the impurity and irritation were slightly greater,and the softness was more prominent than the lower tobacco.Compared with Dali tobacco,Baoshan tobacco has better aroma,strong sweetness,light impurity,less irritation,strong vigor,and more outstanding delicacy and softness.The quality of upper leaf tobacco and Baoshan leaf tobacco was high in sensory evaluation.Secondly,three kinds of absorbers were used to carry out pyrolysis and combustion experiments on tobacco from different producing areas,and methanol was selected as the best absorbent.By comparing the composition and sensory differences of the main flue gas products of the two experimental methods,it was found that the different reaction conditions of pyrolysis and combustion lead to the different distribution of compounds.The flue gas of combustion has good aroma,little irritation and great vigor,but much miscellaneous gas.Thirdly,the sensory contribution of mainstream cigarette smoke of four kinds of tobacco from different places and parts was studied.The statistical results showed that the aroma characteristic compounds of different tobacco were mainly aromatic,fruity,floral,etc.Among them,the upper tobacco leaves and Baoshan tobacco leaves have obvious aroma characteristics.The upper tobacco leaves contain dihydro-β-ionone with higher sensory contribution.Baoshan tobacco leaves contain more sensory characteristic compounds,and Dali tobacco leaves contain more heterogas characteristic compounds.It can be seen that different types of tobacco mainstream smoke present different sensory effects due to their different components.Finally,statistical analysis was performed on four kinds of tobacco and the mainstream smoke sensory compounds with rose and cantaloupe flavor.The olefins,aromatic hydrocarbons,ketones,carboxylic acids and heterocyclic compounds of four tobacco species were found to be more diverse.After adding flavor,the number of compounds was significantly higher than that of blank sample,especially the addition of cantaloupe flavor in Baoshan tobacco.The types and quantities of compounds in blank samples of tobacco leaves from different parts and regions were different,mainly reflected in olefin,aromatic hydrocarbon and ketone.In conclusion,in order to strengthen the standardization construction of the origin and location classification of agricultural tobacco,and promote the complementary advantages and efficient utilization of agricultural tobacco,this paper put forward the extension research measures.Through the exploration and statistical analysis of tobacco sensory substances,this paper provides relevant reference for tobacco smoke sensory research,which is of great significance to promote the improvement of tobacco quality and the development of tobacco economy.
