The establishment and industrial formation of haute couture houses was a key factor for France to become a world fashion center in the early 20 th century.As an important link in helping to construct the French fashion image in the late 19 th and early 20 th centuries,their specific development practices have influenced the understanding of fashion and development patterns in European and American countries,and have a landmark significance in the development process of modern fashion.They are also an important link in the study of French history.This article uses various research methods such as literature collection,reverse inference,and case analysis to carry out specific discussion and analysis.As the birthplace of haute couture,Paris has cultivated a large number of outstanding fashion designers with both artistic and commercial talents,and gradually developed and expanded the haute couture industry.This is due to the combined efforts of its diverse historical and cultural heritage,the development of social salons,the expansion of capital and trade,and the promotion of international exhibitions.According to the different characteristics of the development of the early French haute couture industry,it can be divided into four stages.The first stage was 1857-1870,the second stage was 1871-1913,the third stage was 1914-1945,and the fourth stage was1946-1970.The high-grade ready-to-wear industry rose in the 1960 s and gradually became the main force promoting the development of the fashion industry.By the end of the 20 th century,many haute couture brands had been merged by luxury groups.High fashion became a symbol of brand classics and luxury,helping to sell other product lines of the same brand,in order to obtain high profits.French fashion image was shaped towards a luxury brand power,developing a unique and comprehensive fashion industry chain in France.The construction of French fashion image is a reflection of social change and the spiritual changes of the times.It is the product of the interaction and synergy among the government,society,and enterprises.It contributes to the development of French economy,politics,and culture,and thus develops a fashion system that just belongs to France.Its early start and improvement of the system have led other countries to look behind it,and its measures have been used for reference by other countries.Even in contemporary times,one can glimpse its early style.Therefore,studying the development of the early French haute couture industry is of great significance from both a historical perspective and contemporary value.Based on the research theme,a design practice plan combining with brand A was carried out.In the practice process,relevant experience in the development of the French high fashion industry was referenced.The practical content includes the product design and development of brand A,the design and production of product manuals,display windows,and exhibition halls,and a summary of the execution and effectiveness of the design scheme.It outlines the importance of brand building in the Chinese wool spinning industry and the inevitability of innovative development in the same industry. |
