Honeycomb porous structure comes from the fact that honeycomb in nature is composed of multiple hexagonal tubes.Because honeycomb structure has excellent axial compression performance and energy absorption performance,honeycomb structure is widely used to fill hollow square tubes for reinforcement and lightweight.However,there are a lot of defects in the honeycomb structures prepared by traditional methods,so it is necessary to adopt new methods to prepare more regular and stronger honeycomb structures.Research shows that the pore size has an effect on the performance of honeycomb packed square pipe,but the change of its performance is not clear,so it is necessary to further study the performance of honeycomb packed square pipe with different pore size.In addition,honeycomb structure with good reinforcement performance can also be used as a reinforcement system to prepare composite materials to strengthen the matrix.In order to prepare the honeycomb structure with better performance and study the effect of aperture on the properties of honeycomb filled square tube and honeycomb reinforced composite material,316L(stainless steel)honeycomb filled square tube with different aperture was prepared by using selected laser melting technology(SLM),and then the effect of aperture on the compression and energy absorption properties of honeycomb filled square tube was studied.Finally,ZA8(Zn-Al alloy)was pressed into honeycomb structure by extrusion casting to make 316 L honeycomb structure reinforced zinc alloy matrix composite material,and its friction and wear properties at room temperature and high temperature were studied.This paper mainly studies from the following aspects:(1)The honeycomb filled square tube with different aperture was designed by modeling software and printed by SLM.Then the forming effect of honeycomb filled square tube was analyzed by SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope).The results show that the porosity of the honeycomb filled square pipe decreases by 1.71% compared with the theoretical porosity.(2)The static compression test of honeycomb packed square tube with different aperture prepared by SLM was carried out and the influence of aperture size on the compression performance and energy absorption efficiency of honeycomb packed square tube was analyzed by finite element simulation.The results show that Young’s modulus,yield strength and energy absorption of honeycomb packed square tube are mainly affected by its porosity,and the compression deformation mode will affect the stability of energy absorption.The pore diameter will affect the deformation of honeycomb packed square tube.With the increase of honeycomb pore diameter,when the aspect ratio of honeycomb single tube is larger than the corresponding critical aspect ratio,the compression deformation mode of honeycomb packed square tube will change from integral buckling to progressive buckling.(3)Honeycomb structure 316L/ZA8 composite was prepared by extrusion casting,and then the forming effect of the composite was analyzed by SEM and EDS(Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy).Finally,the influence of different pore sizes on the friction and wear properties of ZA8 was analyzed by high-temperature and room temperature friction and wear tests.The results show that the mean friction coefficient of the composite is smaller and the variation is smaller at room temperature.The addition of honeycomb structure reinforcement improves the friction stability of the zinc alloy at room temperature.At room temperature and high temperature,the wear resistance of composites with smaller aperture is poor,while that of composites with larger aperture is good.When the pore diameter is large,the honeycomb structure reinforcement can protect the matrix and improve the wear resistance of ZA8 alloy,when the pore diameter is small,the powder particles attached to the honeycomb structure reinforcement surface will fall off more seriously,resulting in more serious abrasive wear and poor wear resistance.
