Self-reactive substances are thermally unstable liquid or solid substances or mixtures that are prone to violent exothermic decomposition even without oxygen(air).Most of these substances will undergo exothermic decomposition at lower temperatures.Since most selfreactive chemical molecules contain unstable chemical bonds,such as "-O-O-" and "-N = N-",their chemical properties are extremely unstable.In the process of transportation,storage and use,if the conditions are not properly controlled,it can easily cause catastrophic accidents such as fire and explosion.In this topic,azobisisoheptonitrile(ABVN),azobisisobutyronitrile(AIBN),benzoyl peroxide(BPO),lauroyl peroxide(LPO),10 self-reactive chemicals such as dicumyl peroxide(DCP),Di-tert-butyl peroxide(DTBP),tert-butyl benzoate(TBPB),cumene peroxide(CHP),ammonium persulfate(APS)and hydrogen peroxide are typical representatives through the heat hazard to these 10 typical self-reactive chemicals Characterization,analysis,and theoretical calculations show that safety critical conditions under actual use conditions and the hazardous consequences of self-reactive substances are obtained.Based on the thermal hazard assessment,a specific safe use control plan was proposed;the effects of environmental conditions,impurities and other chemical doping on the thermal runaway of the self-reactive substance;the thermal runaway disaster mechanism was proposed;and the thermal decomposition of the self-reactive substance modified the kinetic theory Model to apply it to thermal hazard assessment of other hazardous chemicals.Based on the results of the hazard assessment experiments of self-reactive chemicals,this study propose the prevention and control recommendations for thermal runaway safety control measures for self-reactive chemicals from the three aspects of temperature control,antiimpurity control,and impact friction control:(1)In terms of temperature control,To and Texo measured with calorimeters of hundreds of milligrams and tens of grams are used as temperature control benchmarks for temperature control parameters.The control temperatures of ten self-reactive chemical substances in this study are Suggest.The alarm temperature parameters are proposed,and some temperature control methods of self-reactive chemicals are proposed;(2)In terms of anti-impurity control,based on the temperature drop of SDAT under impurity doping conditions,the control temperature and alarm temperature benchmarks under impurity doping conditions are proposed,and control measures to prevent impurity doping are proposed.
